  • Tower Grove Bungalow is a four-bedroom, two-bath home in the Bevo Mill neighborhood of south St. Louis that sleeps 11, with a private backyard and off-street parking. The space: The living room has a sectional and a smart TV, and the full kitchen is stocked for a group with a full-size refrigerator, oven, microwave, dishwasher, cookware and a large dining table. Sleeping: Bedroom 1 has a queen bed. Bedroom 2 has a double bed. Bedroom 3 has two queen beds. Bedroom 4 has a double bed and a futon. Bathrooms: two full bathrooms, one with a tub and shower and one with a shower. Comforts: in-unit washer and dryer, Wi-Fi, a desk for remote work and central air. Outside: a private backyard with seating. Parking: off-street parking included, plus street parking. Dogs: up to 2 dogs welcome for a $75 pet fee. Location: Ted Drewes Frozen Custard a short walk away; Carondelet Park and the River Des Peres Greenway within walking distance; Tower Grove Park about 5 minutes by car; South Grand's restaurant row, the Missouri Botanical Garden and the Anheuser-Busch brewery about 10 minutes; downtown St. Louis and Busch Stadium about 20 minutes. Well suited for: families and groups who want separate bedrooms, a yard and a quiet street. Check-in: self check-in with a smart lock; arrival instructions are sent before your stay.

We had a fabulous stay. We were in town to visit with family for the Thanksgiving holiday. The home was clean and comfortable and the kitchen well stocked. We were able to prepare our contributions the family dinner. While our schedule didn’t leave much room for exploring downtown sights, the location would be ideal for doing just that. Highly recommend this home for its location, amenities and responsive host team. Hope to enjoy this property again and explore other offerings from this host.

Comfortable Stay

House was great for what we needed! Super clean and within walking distance to stores. It was nice to be able to park cars in the garage! House was super comfortable and homey!

Family visit to St. Louis

Our stay was great. The house was welcoming. We found it to be clean, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was well supplied with adequate dishes, cookware, cleaning supplies and basic food items. The kids really enjoyed the air hockey table and the TV's in every bedroom. We made use of the gas grill and dined on the patio, and enjoyed the quiet neighborhood. It was a perfect place to relax in after our busy days of sight-seeing and adventures.

Funeral

My husband, middle son and I came in from Bolivar and my oldest son and his wife flew in from Minnesota for my father-in-laws funeral. This house was perfect for us. The beds were comfortable, plenty of lines provided and the kitchen was very well stocked for preparing food. It was nice being able to park in the garage and not have to worry about street parking. We would definitely stay here again.

Fun for all ages

The family was very impressed when we walked into the house. The snacks were a welcome treat since we got in a little later and had not had time to pick up groceries. The host was very responsive to any questions and the beds were super comfortable. The area was questionable but I had no issues walking my dog around the block. The neighbors were friendly. If we go back to St Louis I would definitly stay here again.

Family Trip

My family of 6 adults and 4 kids stayed here for a long weekend. It was close to all the St. Louis attractions Zoo, Science Center, Forest Park, Botanical Garden, City Museum and Arch just to name a few. There was plenty of room for all of us and with a TV in every room there were no fights over what to watch in the evenings. We also enjoyed having an air hockey tournament!

The house was nicely updated. Comfortable beds, beautiful kitchen. The stairs to the lower level were narrow, without handrails. The door leading to the backyard would not open, and there was no access to the garage. Which was unfortunate since on street parking was a bit tricky. The first night there we tried to call and email about these issues. No response. We finally got through to someone the next day. The back door was fixed, but still not able to park in the garage. Overall, I’d say it was a fairly nice place.

Perfect reunion

We picked this place to meet up with my 20-something son from DC and their 80-something grandparents (my parents) from the Springfield area. The layout was exceptional-only 4 steps to get in, and my parents could go to their bedroom, kitchen and living area on the same level, while the boys could hang out downstairs watching TV or playing Air Hockey. It worked perfectly for us for the weekend.

Very comfortable

This place was great to stay in. It accommodated our family of 5 very comfortably. We were very pleased with how much room we had through the house. We walked in to a very clean and tidy house. We were able to use all the things provided. We loved that we could park in the garage and not the street. Very tight fit if you are driving a larger vehicle.
