  • Our house is located in the historic Dogtown in family friendly neighborhood. The house is walking distance to the Zoo and Dogtown restaurants. The house is also very close to Forest Park, Barnes-Jewish Hospital, Washington University, and Central West End. It is within a short driving distance to Saint Louis University, St. Louis downtown, Soulard, Busch Stadium, The Fabulous Fox Theater, Scottrade Center and Missouri Botanical Garden. Direct and easy access to both I-64 and I-44. Come experience St. Louis from the beautiful Historic Irish Dogtown!!

    We have another duplex building in Soulard that is walking distance to Anheuser Busch brewery with short driving distance to Busch Stadium, Soulard Farmers market, Ballpark Village, The Arch and other attractions. Each unit can accommodate 5 people. Guests are able to rent both units accommodating 10 people, perfect for friends and family traveling together, but still wanting privacy. The check in process and communication was stellar. We knew we were staying in a historic home so expectations were correct. The neighborhood seemed safe and parking on the street was fine and shaded. For the age of the house, it was very clean. The amenities were nice! There were quite a few bugs(silver fish and millipedes) and strong smell of mildew or mold throughout the house(could smell it outside the front door too). Maybe some dehumidifiers would be helpful. Overall a great stay!

Wow, what a great stay. It was spotless and we heard zero outside noise. The kitchen has everything we needed and we were able to spread out comfortably. We especially liked the nice bed sheets and that we were comfortable inside during some crazy temperature swings - from the 90s to 40s in one day. The location was perfect - walking distance to Forest Park and a 10-15 minute drive from almost anywhere in the city. We would happily stay again on our next visit to town.

Amazing stay! Family-friendly neighborhood, house was clean and the host was great in making everything easy and stress free. Property was in walking distance to the zoo and many great restaurants in dogtown. Will diffinitely recommend to family and friends.

Loved the charm!

Such a charming place! Clean and welcoming. Everything a person would ever need for a perfect stay. Walked to the zoo and restaurants. Would love to stay there again.

The house was exactly as advertised, very clean, and the neighborhood was nice and quiet. You could easily walk to many places in Forest Park such as the zoo or art museum and many other local restaurants.

Cozy, clean house near the zoo and other attractions. Neighborhood was safe and quiet. Check in/out were easy. Would definitely stay here agin.

Cute little 2 story duplex. Great location - we walked to the zoo easily (about 10-12 minutes or so). House was very clean, had what we needed for our two night stay. The hosts were great, very responsive to my emails before our stay and when we contacted them at check-in time. I'm not sure whether the listing told us that it was a duplex, but that really didn't matter to us. For those with mobility issues, both the bedrooms and the bathroom are upstairs so this wouldn't be ideal for you. If you have no issues with a few steps, then this is the place for you.

The house was clean and it was close to a lot of attractions. I would note that if you are staying with kids that the neighbors were out fighting majority of the night.

Great night out!

We stayed for a night out on the town with our friends. The place was great! Close to nearby restaurants and bars. House was clean and in a nice area. Homeowner was easy to work with and parking was easy.

Great location

We had a great stay! Great location, walking distance to the zoo amd lots of great restaurants! Parking was a breeze too. Would be nice to have a few staples for cooking like salt and pepper. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay

Comfortable stay

I rented this place for my in-laws to stay while in town over the holidays. The owner's were very accommodating and my in-laws said it was very comfortable. They liked the access to Forest Park and the attractions there.

Beautiful home in leafy neighborhood

We loved this beautiful 2-bedroom home in Dogtown. Clean, comfortable, well-equipped, quiet, it really had everything we could ask for. It is near a great BBQ restaurant and a brewery, so we were set. We enjoyed it very much and would recommend this to anyone going to St. Louis. It was our first visit there and we had a great time!

Nice duplex

We were in St. Louis for a seminar. Stayed with spouse and co-worker for 4 days. It was nice and convenient. A good place to stay.
