The Space:

Cape Marie 1403 has been recently renovated into a modern, upscale apartment with warm tones and high-end materials throughout. The layout is open and bright, and large sliding glass doors dissolve the line between indoors and out, so the living space, kitchen and terrace all feel like one continuous room with the Caribbean breeze moving through it.



Living room

The living area is furnished with comfortable, design-led seating and a smart TV with international channels, air conditioning keeping things pleasant through the heat of the day. Sliding doors open directly onto the terrace and shared pool, so the living room is never really separate from the outdoors.



Bedrooms and bathrooms

Two air-conditioned bedrooms give this apartment its comfortable four-guest capacity. The primary bedroom holds a kingsize bed with a premium mattress and linens, decorated in natural tones, and has its own private sink for a touch of extra convenience. The second bedroom is spacious with two single beds, ideal for children or a second couple, and shares a bathroom fitted with a walk-in shower, double vanity and toilet. A separate guest toilet adds privacy for everyone staying.



Kitchen

The open-concept kitchen is built for both cooking and entertaining, centred on a kitchen island with bar stools that naturally becomes the spot for casual meals or evening drinks. It's fully equipped with an American-style refrigerator with ice and water dispenser, a combination oven and microwave, a blender for smoothies and tropical cocktails, and a Nespresso machine for your morning coffee. Positioned between the living room and the terrace, it lets you cook while still taking in the sea view.



Terrace and pool

Step straight from your private terrace into the beautifully maintained shared pool – one of the simple luxuries that defines a stay here. The terrace itself is furnished for full-day comfort, with sun loungers, a shaded lounge area, and views over the tropical garden and pool, and on clear evenings the Caribbean Sea stretches out beyond it in full view. Morning coffee, an afternoon swim, or a sunset cocktail all happen right here.

The Neighborhood:

Coral Estate is a gated resort on Curaçao's quiet west coast, in the region locals call Banda Abou, just outside the village of Sint Willibrordus. It's a residential estate built around a simple motto: peace, space and safety, with 24/7 security on the grounds. Nature runs right through it: cactus, divi-divi trees and dry kunuku scrubland on and around the resort and the sea opening up in front of you. A short drive away is Jan Kok bay, where the island's iconic pink flamingos wade through the shallow salt pans. Almost everything you need sits together at the Coral Estate Centre: a spa, a dive school, a small boutique and a bakery. The bakery is where the day starts, with a croissant and a fresh smoothie and it turns into a pizzeria in the evening. Down on the ocean side are two restaurants. Karakter sits on the resort beach, where you can spend the whole day on a lounger and have food and drinks brought to you or eat at a table with your feet in the sand. Koraal serves the same view from its terrace up on the cliff. Three of the island's best beaches are close by: Daaibooi and Playa Porto Marie around 10 minutes by car, Cas Abao about 15. This is the calm half of Curaçao, with quieter bays, better diving and space to yourself.



Getting Around:

Coral Estate sits about 25 minutes from Hato International Airport (CUR) and roughly 25 to 30 minutes from Willemstad, so the whole island stays within comfortable reach while you're staying on the quiet side of it. Do you need a car in Curaçao? For a stay here, yes. There's no supermarket inside the gate and the beaches, dive sites and restaurants that make the west coast special are spread out along the coast road. With a car you can chase a new beach every day, start the morning with an early hike in Christoffel Park or drive into Willemstad for shopping and dinner. We keep our own rental cars on the estate and rent them exclusively to our guests, so you can arrange one directly with us instead of queueing at the airport desk. Get in touch and we'll talk you through the options and have the car ready when you arrive. We can also arrange a taxi for you, for the ride from the airport when you land, back again on departure, or an evening out in Willemstad without worrying about the drive home. Other Things to Note:

A few practical things, so there are no surprises when you arrive. - Your holiday starts with a drink on us. Every guest is welcome to a free drink at Karakter, the Coral Estate beach restaurant at the water's edge. - Booking with us comes with 24 hours to think it over. If you change your mind within that time, you can cancel free of charge, no questions asked. - Your accommodation is cleaned before you arrive, the beds are made and fresh bath towels and beach towels are waiting for you. Staying five nights or longer? Cleaning and fresh linens and towels are included every three to four days at no extra cost. - The rate you see is based on the number of guests you enter, so do check that it matches your party before you book. It always includes the use of one bedroom per two guests. Would you rather spread out over more bedrooms? You can add one or more extra bedrooms for an additional charge per night. This also can be arranged after booking, so just get in touch and we'll take care of it. - Fancy a barbecue? We can arrange one for an additional charge. We'll have it ready to use when you want it, gas, charcoal or electric depending on the accommodation and we'll clean it after you leave.
 - Normal electricity and water use is included in your rate, based on running the air conditioning around 8 to 12 hours a day. That covers a comfortable stay for almost everyone and the vast majority of guests stay well within it. If usage goes well beyond that, a surcharge applies.
 - A refundable deposit of USD 500 is arranged at check-in, preferably as a credit card authorisation. It covers any damage or loss during your stay and is released in full after check-out once everything is in order.
