“The room was clean, Staff excellent, Bar fully stocked, Wifi good. Room was very small 10foot wide 20foot long, bed very soft, no good for people with back problems. Advertised as B&B cleaner had to get manager in to do breakfast which was basically a bacon sandwich. No breakfast the following day even though it was the chef who let us out of building!”

“Very disappointing stay. The room I booked was already occupied when I arrived. I was moved to a smaller room that did not match what I paid for three people, and my children had to find accommodation elsewhere. The place was not very clean and had an unpleasant smell. The kitchen was dirty. I did not even wait for breakfast. I chcked out very early in the morning.”

“The room was fine, not exceptional, for me, as I was only staying for 6 nights. I hadn't booked breakfast as it was only offered on a Sunday, but there is a "Sandwich Stop" attached to the hotel in the car park. Parking was adequate, but trying to exit onto the busy main road was a nightmare, as the hedges were so overgrown and hadn't been trimmed, so it was impossible to see traffic approaching from both directions. “Overall if you are a dirtbag climber and just in sheffield for a quick trip this place totally gets the job done. Our biggest issues were that there was no shower curtain so the bathroom flooded when anyone showered, none of the bathrooms had soap, and overall just super limited amenities. Also the trash out front was absolutely overflowing and was all over the yard. Honestly would stay again in a pinch, just would come with lower expectations.”
