“Apartamento muy grande, con dos baños, comedor y dos habitaciones. Estaba renovado recientemente. Cocina completa, con material para cocinar y vajilla. Muy céntrico. Párking incluido. Lavadora y secadora de uso libre en el mismo edificio, hay que pagar el jabón aparte, 2$. Las dos piscinas son muy pequeñas, no se como consiguen hacer esas fotos! La wifi solo llegaba bien a una de las habitaciones. Tienen mucha información sobre las actividades que se pueden realizar por los alrededores. ”

“Hotel muy bien situado cerca de la playa. Tiene algunos detalles de hotel de tres estrellas. No cambiaron las sábanas en los 4 días que estuvimos aún indicándolo pero en términos generales es un buen hotel y su personal muy agradable. De lo mejor de Port Douglas”

“Had a wonderful 10 night stay at Shantara. We loved being so close to Macrossan st and the beach, while the pool was an amazing end to each day. The Hotel was peaceful, beautiful and quiet. As is normal for Far North Queensland, there is not everyday cleaning service but we don’t use that anywhere anyway. Plenty of parking, but if you didn’t bring a car everything is walking distance with shuttle bus options for longer journeys. The only black mark of the stay were our neighbours on the pool...

“Difficulty in checking in after hours. Instructions were confusing and no one was reachable by phone. After managing to check in, the room was not set up for 2 single beds that had been booked. Spoke to staff next morning & they were very helpful in upgrading us to a beautiful suite”

“We were disappointed that we didn't get the room that we paid for - it did not match the advertised pictures and was smaller than advertised. The pools and spas were too cold to swim in and one of the spas was not working. The room was very dark and a big wall blocked our view. There was not enough cutlery for 2 people and there was no sink to wash it in. The blinds were stained and the pools had stains and chipped tiles. It was in need of a renovation and a good clean.”
