“The owner was SO accommodating. We had an early morning to get to Cumberland. She got up early and got our breakfast prepared before the other boarders. Walking distance to many things. Very cozy and nicely decorated. The bed in the Lucy and Ricky room was the best I've had.”

“This was our fifth stay at Merry Mermaid Cottage in six years. The cottage and its location in St. Marys are both fabulous, so much so that we've made it an annual getaway. Barbara (the owner) is exceptional at communication and accommodation. The cottage couldn't be better, just perfect for our needs and accessorized with anything you might need. “Bed sheets and towels did not feel clean with hair from prior use all over it. As soon as we entered there were 2 roaches. At night it was worse. We barely got any sleep as we were nervous about the bugs. In the morning we found one in our bag. We quickly grabbed our stuff and moved everything to the car. We had 2 nights booked, but we ran away after the 1st night a horrible rest. We were visiting Cumberland island that day. We were very tired due to bad sleep and before the ferry took us there...
