“This little gem of a hotel is tucked into a quiet area just a few minutes walk from the train station. The staff was so kind and helpful. The food at the on site restaurant was amazing, the locals in the bar were friendly, and the rooms were comfortable, clean, and nicely decorated. There was a large parking lot and local trails for walking. We got our laundry done for a very reasonable price, left folded/hung in our room. Highly recommend! ”
“Needs a lot of tlc to be put into the rooms, me and my mate had a enuite twin with a lovely shower. Beds were comfy the room was very small and tight on space. The cleanliness of the room wasn't the best as there were dead flies lying around the room and bathroom, was also very badly stained in areas. Some staff were helpful and some not so much. Price for the stay was a bit overpriced for the lack of care gone into it. We would stay again based on the beds being comfy and decent shower. Just...
“The cottage was amazing, everything we needed and more for a quiet weekend away as a family. The setting was beautiful. The cottage is situated on the site of a wedding venue but it is far enough away to not be disturbed or us not to infringe on the wedding celebrations taking place. A gem of a property that allowed us to just chill. We would love to return in the future.”

It has a restaurant on site but when we went to eat there we were told it was closed because they had let in a large group and to come back at 9:30, when it would reopen. When we went back at 9:30, they were rather abrupt with us and said they took the last order at 9:35. They reluctantly let us in when we told them that was what we had been told. I am celiac and their Gluten free options were the poorest I had seen in the UK in 3 weeks. ”
