Family vacation

My kids and I had a great time. They loved the beach and pool John's pass is an awesome little village to walk around. The pool deck and pool could use some lighting for night-time

Great Location

This condo is a great location across from John’s Pass! Lots of restaurants and outdoor bars with great entertainment. The condo was clean but needs some updated furniture. We did enjoy our stay.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We've stayed several places by John's Pass over the last 35 years and loved our stay here. Room was not as updated as others but it was clean. Parking was easy and had space for our visitors. We loved the pool area and it was kept spotless daily. And of course the views were amazing. Can't wait to come back.

I do wish they left some more basic items like you see in other condos, but it wasn't a deal breaker. The bed was very comfortable, and the condo is very open and feels even bigger than it is.

Nice location

Great location and view. The place was great and clean but, toilet didn’t even after maintenance fixed it. The 2 TV in the house are not working not even local tv. It’s a tv mess, maintenance was the for 30 minutes. No paper towels or anything. The info books on the table are old outdated and really tell you nothing. You are on your own at this place. No extra towels, toilet paper etc.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family and I rented two units, #301 and #305. #305 was a little nicer than #301 but they were both clean. You cannot beat the view from #305. The elevator is slow, but we were able to take the stairs, so it wasn’t a real issue. The pool is nice and maintained everyday. You cannot beat the view and location. It’s impossible to get any closer to the beach and you can walk across the street to John’s Pass. Would def stay again.

We had to keep taking the lid off the toilet tank and pushing the thing that makes it fill with water. Had to do that at least 15 times during the week. The other thing was the TV. Horrible. Never rented a unit that didn’t have regular tv. The amount of money we pay for rent, there should be regular tv. Never got it to work all week.

Literally steps away from the beautiful white sandy beach and the ocean. The beach is always very clean and the condo has everything you need to make your stay relaxing and comfortable. If you are looking for a low key family vacation sight you can’t go wrong with Sandy Shores on Madeira beach!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location was great, balcony faced a little more south than west so sun did not beat in or much on the balcony! The only bad experience, would be NO fresh towels or linens for 10 days! There are washers/dryers $1.50 ea on each floor but dryer on our floor didn't work, though we should NOT have to wash hand/bath towels. When they minimum starting supplies they mean it: 1 small bar of soap, no shampoo/lotion, TP was ok, no pan scrubber, 1 small bottle of dish soap, NO roll of paper towels. When called Sunhost said yeah thats the way it is, didn't seem to care. Be sure bring these items with you or be prepared to purchase and to the price of your trip. That being said 301 was a great unit and would stay again, just need to be aware.
