The house is in a great location with a very short walk to the beach and a lovely walkable neighborhood that has a park with tennis/pickleball courts. The interior of the house is open concept and is completely updated. The extra "game" room was a bonus to use as an office for my husband who needed to work a few days. The bedrooms/baths are not large and only 2 baths, but overall a great place to stay. The host was very responsive when we had some questions.

Amazing location, nice space to share ( we had 8 people). Nice outside area with fire pit and pool. Being so close to the beach made it easy and didn’t need vehicles. That being said, we arrived with 8 people for an entire week and had a total of 4 rolls of toilet paper, 2 garbage bags, a couple of laundry pods, no kitchen extras like foil, seasonings other than salt. We are from out of state so having to buy these items was an inconvenience and added expense that I have never experienced in another vrbo. There was a few lawn chairs, a beach chair and a wagon which was nice for hauling things to the beach.

Hosts were super helpful. The walk to the beach is very short and cute childrens park with mangrove boardwalk just as close in opposite direction. Definitely dream beach getaway for us. This was our first online house rental and I was fearful of a long list of to do's for check out and we basically had to put the trash out, so another !

Outstanding value?

The property was very well situated within a few blocks of bars, restaurants n the beach. The house’s accommodations were great especially the heated pool facing the canal and Alan was very helpful and responsive when asked. He was so great we have already booked with him for 2026!

Location Location Location

If you're looking for a short walk to the beach, this is the place. If you like a retro home this is the place. They should really update this place for the price they are asking. It was very clean and comfortable. However the fenced in back yard is only accessible from the side of the house, about 20 feet from door to gate is not fenced in. Once you enter the backyard it IS a little slice of heaven. Pool and sanded area are very nice. Although we never used the pool. We did not go outside in the back at all after dawn as it butts a conservation pond and without a pool cage the mosquitos are vicious. We contacted the property manager with requests of changing location with a few major dislikes. The only one available did have a pool cage but we were informed one of the top screens needs to be replaced. (THEN FIX IT!) Overall plenty of room for a large family, all the basics are provided. We ended up leaving 2 nights earlier than we booked. I give it a 3* rating

Another great vacation at Indian rocks beach

The location was great just a short walk to the beach even for the youngest in our party. It was great that there were beach chairs umbrellas and a beach wagon on the premises to use. The house was spacious enough for the 10 of us everyone loved the pool and the fire pit. I would like to thank Alan for all the assistance and the great time we would definitely like to come back next year

Excellent Location!! It is really 3 "steps" from the beach!!

The property is not so good, and more light on the backyard would be helpful to enjoy evenings. But they have chairs, a beach car and umbrellas, and a nice pool so that part is covered.

Disappointed and won't return

This property was indicated as being "retro" when actually more like old, and neglected. Check-in and check-out was conveinent and most positive aspects. I've been renting beach locations during July 4th for over 20+ years and family member is also a residential property manager and all were aballied by condition of the home, not to mention being the most costly. The house smelled old and stuffy as soon as we arrived.(glad I had airwick). Had plenty of linens though all beds were hard/uncomfortable. The property was pet friendly, but it was not secure for pets. The backyard fencing was old, broken, completely missing and/or fallen down in some areas. They knew of issue as there were pieces of lattice fencing lying on the guard from where they had fallen from just leaning up against the fencing. Not to mention a huge raccoon that accessed the backyard by entering from broken fencing. Potenial mold in hall bathroom ceiling noticed by guest that manages huge apartment complex and aware of signs. Garage disposal never worked, causing draining issue(property manager offered to come fix during our stay, but shouldn't have been an issue and functioning if property maintained properly. Cooking was another major concern for us. While cooking breakfast, brown liquid began dripping from exhaust fan which dripped into cooking pan as well as splantered on stove. Beach access was good but this was the mostly costly and worst property I've stayed in! VERY DISHEARTENING STAY!!!

Nice place to stay. Very close to the beach. Pool was nice for a small group but I recommend trimming the foliage away from the patio door, pathway, and gate to the pool. Owner was very responsive and friendly.

nice place

Place was great for us. many areas to lay down your head. very convenient walk to beach access. Everything was really close. No shortage on towels. kitchen well stocked for dishes and such. Alan worked with me on everything, perfect host

Wonderful!

The property was immaculate and very spacious— worked great for our group of 10. Very close (easily walkable) to beach, food, etc. Alan & Paul (points of contact) were super responsive.

Great Location

You can walk to the beach and a beach entrance is right across Gulf Blvd. Place is big enough for a family and has 2 living areas with TVs. Alan was very responsive. Place is dated but most of the beach rentals are. Would stay here again.

Great Location and backyard!

I was quite surprised how better this property looked in person, though the photos are spot on, the rooms were larger than i expected. it was perfect for our family of 7 adults plus our dog. Alan was a great property manager and was a text away with fast response. Though this property has a "retro" feel it was great for everything we needed. the best part was location, we pretty much walked everywhere as the furthest walk was only 20 min! 5 min walk to the beach was great too. lots of great local bars and restaurants in the area and the backyard was absolutely beautiful! we had the heated pool and on hot days was great. Perks are an open concept layout with lots of seating space and new washer and dryer was awesome. A couple maintenance issues that need some upgrading but think it just comes with an old house, nothing that could have been fixed while we were there and nothing that was truly bothersome. all in all great place and would stay again! Thanks Alan!

Indian Rocks beach house

We enjoyed our stay so much! We had a group of 8 and we had plenty of room! Everything was clean and ready for us to use! We loved the location to the beach!!! The manager was great and answered any questions we had. We rented a golf cart for the the week also and it was there waiting on us when we arrived. The back yard was amazing and made you feel like you were sitting on the beach! The fire pit topped it off!!! We would definitely stay again!!!
