Pleasant leisurely vacation

Highly recommend Octupus Garden. Clean,all the amenities you need, plus the pool was an added bonus. Hosts were very accommodating.

Great time

We had a great time at the pool and the location was good for going to differnt spots around st Pete Tampa area only issue we had was the sink set up in the bathroom was a strange size from the faucet to the bottom of the sink. We already have told all our friends about it and plan to come back in the future

Octopus Garden

Great check-in process, house was extremely clean with very nice features, we had a problem with a ceiling fan and owner responded within minutes and corrected the issue. The pool is wonderful, very private, and well lighted for evening/ nighttime swimming. We basically rented this property for the pool , but were very impressed with the house. Beds are comfy, nice appliances in kitchen and a clean and efficient bathroom. There are 4 big screen TVs but I don’t think we even used them, except the one at the outside bar. Off street parking and a quiet neighborhood. Extensive supply of beach chairs,towels, bags, wagon tote, umbrella, etc for use if you’re going to the beaches. Stack washer & dryer comes in handy. 15 minutes to Indian Rocks Beach, maybe 20 mi to St Pete Beach

Didnt realize that it wasnt a single family residence, you are in a house that was split and you share walls with other people. Overall clean beds are a bit saggy.

Sweet Stay

A perfect spot for our little family vacation! The location was wonderful and we loved how close we were to the beach and delicious restaurants. We had a great time celebrating our daughter’s 2nd birthday and loved how we enjoyed the pool and making dinner together! Only issue was parking… it’s a small tight spot so bigger cars will need to be extra careful!

Tastefully decorated retreat near Clearwater Beach

The good Loved the pool and grill and kitchen was well equipped for a couple days stay. Living room was inviting with TV and games and conducive for gatherings and hanging out. Bathroom was well equipped and clean with ample numbers of towels and storage. Loved the outside decorations with clear distinction between the units. Excellent communication with the owner. The pool heater was not working just before we got there and the owner communicated this to us immediately. They had a tech on site right away. The water was still cold the next day but the candid communication meant a lot. The bad The washer and dryer are there but was hard to find but was there. Didnt notice it until the last day of checkout My fault for not communicating with the host on this one. The Thermostat was difficult or almost impossible to adjust easily. It always seemed to revert back to a scheduled setting. The house is a bit off the beaten path as you have to drive to get to restaurants beaches etc. but you get a good value in this home. Checkout time is a bit early at 10 am but the owner was clear about this and upfront. All in all the property has everything that was stated in the listing and is a good value well equipped. We enjoyed our stay and the owner communicated well. You cant go wrong on this one

Check out was at 10 A.M. I notice a person taking out garbage at 9:30 in the morning. Not sure why. I had to walk all of our garbage to the end of the driveway to the street then the man began knocking at the door. He never introduced himself which both acts were highly disrespectful and unprofessional. I later found out from "housekeeping" who he was...the owner. Don't rent this property ! Very offended !

Beautiful home and helpful landlord

My family of a spouse and teen son loved this house! The best part is the pool. The pool in a completely private patio is big enough to swim around. There's a small bar without the drinks :-( and a TV. We could use a pool chair, a tube, some toys. We sunned on lounge chairs. For my taste the house is excellent. The interior is primarily dark wood and heavy stones. The beds are comfortable for extended sleeping. The kitchen was amazingly well-stocked. Not only were there all the kitchenware you might want, even in a full-time home, but also many food items. We had coffee--both loose grounds and Keurig pods--drinks, popcorn, snackbars, oatmeal, and most of the cooking materials you might want. The entire rental process and location promoted a quality experience. The landlord was helpful when we needed assistance. The person he hired to clean the house was available for questions and did an quality job cleaning the house. The neighborhood seemed safe and was quiet. The house was near the Gulf and the large cities. This made the entire experience pleasant.

Pleasant stay in a nice neighbourhood

The unit is a great home base for accessing the Pinellas trail (for hiking or cycling), and it's just a few minutes from Walsingham Park, the Botanical Gardens, and a 10 minute drive to the causeway over to Indian Rocks. The patio and pool are a nice plus. It's in a nice neighbourhood, and you rarely hear the guests in the next door unit. The kitchen was pretty spacious, although it would benefit from the addition of smaller pots and (non stick) pans. Sami was amazing. Although she is officially the (exceptional) house cleaner, she does so much more to keep everything running smoothly. Whatever we needed (extra towels, supplies), Sami would magically appear with the required provisions. She shared lots of bar and restaurant recommendations, tips on getting around, and so much more.
