UNA BUENA ESTANCIA, PERO CON ALTIBAJOS EN LA WIFI
Lugar muy pintoresco. Estancia muy agradable. La única pega es que no hay buena cobertura de internet.

Entorno privilegiado
Agradable estancia en un hotel en un enclave privilegiado de la Provenza, justo al lado de la ciudad romana de Glanum. Repetiría sin dudarlo.

Hôtel Villa Glanum, muy cerca de Sant Remy y de las atracciones turísticas
Estuvimos dos noches, el hotel esta decordado al estilo "la provence" calido y sin demasiados lujos, todo el hotel esta muy limpio, las habitaciones son correctas con vistas a los bonitos jardines que dispone el hotel. El desayuno vale 11€ un poco caro para el poco surtido del buffet libre que tienen aunque es fuciente y todo de calidad, es comodo el tomarlo allí mismo ya que quedas preparado para salir a hacer turismo. Es un buen punto para visitar todos los pueblos de alrededor que tienen mucho encanto..

Loved Villa Glanum. Stay here!
I loved this hotel. We had our own little villa with a private porch. Close to the Glanum ruins. A good walk (nice to walk off a meal) to/fro downtown St. Remy, but in being further away, it made for a very peaceful and quiet stay without too much traffic driving by. Staff was friendly. The breakfast patio, like the entire estate, was very pretty and charming, I loved having breakfast out there each morning. Good location for day trips, and had a pool to take a dip after a day out and about.

Good location near centre
Our arrival was less than promising for being chastised where we left our car when checking in. However, the room was comfortable except for an overpowering aroma of bleach perhaps from a heavy handed cleaner. The pool area is lovely. Breakfast is quite pricey at 12euro so we went to town and paid 6euro for us both.

Lovely hotel close to St Rémy-de-Provence
I have just spent a relaxing couple of days at Villa Glanum. It is really well located on the outskirts of St Rémy-de-Provence. It is a 15 minute walk into town, where there are lots of shops and restaurants. You are right next door to the Roman ruins at the Archeological site of Glanum and over the road from the psychiatric hospital that Vincent van Gogh stayed in. So great culture on your doorstep. I had a lovely gite like room with its own private terrace. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. There was also a lovely pool to cool off in and plenty of sun loungers. I would definite recommend a stay here.

beautiful spot, quiet, nice pool, good location
We stayed 3 nights. the hotel is outside of St Rémy de Provence (about 15 minutes on foot, 3 minutes by car, to the small town center). it has very pretty grounds, and a nice pool; there is also a restaurant, but we didn't eat there. the complex is right next to two interesting attractions: Les Antiques (an arch and a tomb from Roman times) and the hospital of St Paul, where van Gogh stayed for about a year. St Rémy is convenient to many Provence sites, and we used this as a base. The hotel is quite lovely, the room was smallish but pleasant, the wifi was fine, the staff was helpful and friendly, the pool a definite plus as it was quite hot. the grounds were also very quiet (which mattered as we were there when France won the World Cup and even small St Rémy was very noisy that night). we also got a reasonable price for the value.

Glanum Goodies
Hotel and staff great, only drawback was that the restaurant was only open for breakfast (which was excellent). It is in a great spot about 10 minutes on foot out of St Remy de Provence and being literally next door to the archaeological site of Glanum and also the asylum where Van Gogh spent a year shortly before is death. Highly recommended.

Great Location!
Villa Glanum was a very nice stay. The room was well appointed, the grounds were very pretty, and the staff friendly. The parking was spacious and included. Located outside of St. Remy it was close enough to walk to town. The walk was along a route that had examples of Van Gogh paintings done in St. Remy and quotations from his correspondance. The hilltop ruins and village of Les Baux were a short drive from Villa Glanum. Highly recommend the son et lumiere lightshow in the quarry at Les Baux. All easily accessible by car from Villa Glanum. And the name Glanum refers to Roman ruins that are nearby. One of our favorite places in a month long trip..

Un havre de paix aux cœur des Alpilles.
Lieux de choix pour cet hôtel, à quelques kilomètres des Baux de Provence. Un superbe parc avec piscine ou il fait beau se promener et se détendre. Un petit-déjeuner copieux servi par une charmante hôtesse. La taille des chambres est cependant minimaliste, tout comme l'espace petit déjeuner lorsque le temps ne permet pas de le prendre à l'extérieur. Un restaurant aurait été bienvenu, mais le village recèle d'excellentes adresses. Reste cependant une très bonne adresse.

Ottimo albergo
A 100 metri dal Glanum e dalla struttura dove van Gogh è stato ricoverato per un anno. È a 10 minuti dal paese. Camere in stile provenzale, luogo tranquillo, piscina confortevole, colazione ottima.

Positiva. Pace verde armonia ai piedi delle Alpilles. Un posto che amo da 26 anni L'hotel è stata una piacevole esperienza dopo la vendita della casa. Sapere cosa c'è oltre quel verde e quell'azzurro raddoppia il piacere della piccola sosta in piscina o nel piccolo giardinetto della camera Ottima anche la disponibilità dei vostri operatori che ho contattato direttamente e che mi hanno aiutato per la prenotazione con gentilezza e professionalità. The hotel staff was great, but I think the hotel needs updating. Nice shower and bathroom, but the room and overall place felt a bit shabby. Was clean and right near the hospital where Van Gogh stayed so convenient to the sights.

Hotel pulito ed economico
Piccolo hotel fantastico a due passi dal sito archeologico di Glanum e a pochi passi dalla carinissima cittadina di Saint-Rémy-de-Provence. La struttura è pulita, ben mantenuta e curata, avvolta nel silenzio della campagna. L'interno della struttura centrale è molto accogliente con piccolo salotto e cammino, sarà stato un casale agricolo. Lo staff è gentilissimo, dà la sensazione quasi di conduzione familiare. Camera pulitissima e confortevole in tutti i sensi (letto buono con cuscini morbidi); le dimensioni ridotte della parte abitativa sono compensate dall'ampio bagno (con doccia fantastica) e dalla piccola terrazza con tavolino e sedie. Il clima ancora primaverile ci ha impedito di godere al massimo l'area esterna con piscina e sdrai, ma anche questa zona è molto curata e accogliente.

Convenient for exploring Provence
The location was very good for exploring Provence, the highlight of the Hotel was the people. They were friendly and helpful and made our stay very pleasurable. The food was excellent, the Chef was very accommodating, and helpful.

Superbe résidence, beaucoup de charme et en harmonie avec l'environnement, personnel serviable et souriant, vraiment je recommande! Petit moins, pas de plateau bouilloire dans la chambre, dommage juste pour ca, mais chambre parfaite :-)

Pleasant place to stay
Friendly proprietors, unexpected extras - proper coffee in room and large jacuzzi bath - made our stay extra enjoyable. Relaxing surroundings and meals served in a pleasant lounge/dining area made our stay complete.

Great location for exploring southern Rhone wines
Great location and excellent courtyard for breakfast or relaxing at night. Stayed for 3 nights, had dinner at restaurant one night - very good. Pool was still open in late September, so that was a bonus.

Excellent séjour à l'hôtel. Personnel très aimable et sympa, tant l'accueil, le jardinier et le ménage. Bon restaurant, le chef genial !
