The location in close proximity to places to eat and shop and explore, and views of the pier and waterway are all great. The condo (#204) is very spacious and has all the basic amenities, though a few things show expected wear such as some of the cookware and some closet knobs, and older sliders. The master bedroom TV did not work, suspect the remote just needed new batteries, but we didn’t need to watch that one, and the living room TV worked well. The view from the bedroom is lovely. The unit was clean and very comfortable and had some nice personal touches (artwork, furniture accents, library). The balcony overlooking the waterway where you have outstanding views across to Jekyll Island, and the pier, and up towards the suspension bridge, and sunsets, are some of the main reasons to rent this unit. The balcony is large. The complex is quiet and well maintained. This was our first time renting a VRBO property and we were very satisfied except for a little difficulty figuring out upon arrival, how to enter the gate code to open the gate and drive in, or realizing there is a pressure plate you need drive over to trigger the gate to open so you can drive out. For opening the gate to drive into the parking area and complex, we didn't realize you needed to enter a # sign before the number…. We thought # meant number, not for using the actual # sign on the key pad. Our mistake. But overall a very satisfying stay! We would use VRBO and rent this property again.
