Condominio frente al mar / piscina en la Bahía de Bolongo; Magníficas vistas y una ubicación increíble!

Este espacioso condominio 2BR / 2BA frente al mar (con un sofá cama y lavadora / secadora) está decorado en una decoración tropical y disfruta de un clima cálido durante todo el año, brisas de la isla y excelentes vistas frente al mar de la belleza tropical de Bolongo Bay y amaneceres matutinos.
La ubicación céntrica en la soleada costa sur está justo donde quieres estar: ¡cerca de todo! Charlotte Amalie está a solo 10 minutos en automóvil hacia el oeste hasta el centro comercial de compras libre de impuestos del Caribe, y Red Hook está a solo 8 minutos en automóvil hacia el este, donde puede tomar una persona o un transbordador de automóviles a St. John a través de un corto viaje panorámico en ferry o disfruta de la vida nocturna de Red Hook.
Este espacioso condominio de 1100 pies cuadrados con dos dormitorios tiene capacidad para 4 personas perfectamente. The location is great but the condo needs some remodeling as there is visible evidence of heating and water damage . The sewage system had some backups too which I believe was the whole building . It was cleared up after we reached out.

Would have given an excellent for location, views, home decor and furniture. But there wasn’t a cookie sheet to bake cookies so we used their frying pan in the oven. No sponge to wash dishes so bought one. A/C in master bedroom is dying w/ crazy noises jarring you awake. No fault of owners with cleanliness as it’s a cleaning service who slacked severely as dust was thick and floors not so clean, fridge filthy, kitchen cabinets had bad odor so we washed any dish/cutlery used. And outside lights shine in 2nd bedroom like a spotlight all night. Put up some towels but they would benefit with vertical blinds. Other than all that it was perfect spot to be and those are all small corrections to a fabulous stay

Wonderful "home base" for island getaway!

The complex is a great location to explore the island (about half way between Charlotte Amalie and Red Hook), short trip to beaches or to town and Iggies Bar and Grill is a great place for a meal and is so handy. The pool and poolside tables/umbrellas right by the ocean is amazing for lounging or swimming (2/3 size of a lap pool!). Best pool area we've had in a VRBO ever.One negative- Mim's is very close to the unit, so there's not much privacy in the evenings (close the curtains) and there is an older gentleman who sits outside Mim's most days who appears to be a family member of the restaurant owners... he is a nice guy, but because it's so close by, it took a little getting use to. We didn't use the unit's outdoor patio much and just went to the pool area to relax and close the curtains in the evenings when Mim's was open.

2nd stay, didn’t disappoint!

My family and I stayed at the same resort in 2019 and had such a great experience that we rebooked it this year! The property is beautiful, always great neighbors and other tourists, convenient to some really great restaurants also.

Bolongo Bay Vacay

First time to VI and it did not disappoint. Amazing views and very friendly people at the local restaurants. The views are simply breathtaking and I would definitely stay here again. They have everything you could ask for including beach chairs, cooler and snorkel gear. One thing that could use improvement are the beds. Not the most comfortable and the head boards are not attached properly so the mattress hangs over the box springs. Overall I would definitely stay here again! Added bonus: Mims Seafood Bistro made our stay here! Check them out

This is an OK condo

First of all, I want to point out that I am not local to the VI, so some of my pain points might be reflective of that: 1. The owner sent detailed information well in advance of our trip including restaurants, grocery stores, taxis, shopping, etc. which was MUCH appreciated. Some of this info was also laminated and waiting in the condo for us upon arrival. 2. The condo had A LOT of bugs (pretty sure they were roaches) including in the fridge, the bed, and shower. All places where you do not want to come across a bug. We did not enjoy this during vacay but there are window air conditioners so I am sure they get in that way… still, not enjoyable. I saw one run across the couch cushion while I was sitting…eek! 3. When they say fully self-service, that means EVERYTHING. We had two rolls of toilet paper for the entire week we were there and had to buy our own after those were gone. Just a heads up to include that in your shopping when you first arrive. It didn’t occur to us. 4. Washers and dryers are very small, no big loads. Not a negative thing, just a heads up. 5. Check your sheets and pillow cases when you arrive; the master and guest bedroom both had dirty linens. Our master bedroom had a red stain that resembled a drop of blood on it. A pillowcase in the guest room had a blackish brown stain on it. We called the owner and asked him to fix and he got back to me the next day saying the cleaning crew would replace. They did but I had to put a towel down that first night to avoid the stain on the sheet… not ideal. 6. The tv’s in the bedrooms don’t work which normally wouldn’t be a big deal but it’s listed as an ‘amenity’ for the condo under their website at Stthomascondos.net, so I expected them to be operational in the master room at least. We mentioned to the owner and he picked up the cable boxes but never returned them so we didn’t have functioning TVs in either bedroom the entire trip. Only in the living room. 7. Mim’s restaurant which is directly in front of the condo… MAKE A RESERVATION. The manager was extremely rude to us when we arrived and asked for a table. And I quote, “I knew as soon as I saw you arrive that you were going to try something crazy.” Because we asked to be seated not knowing we need a reservation? Bit dramatic and rude. We ate dinner there the first night and never again. Overall, we made the best of it but with the cost associated, I expected a clean condo with functionality.

Great Stay

Cute little place! Unfortunately, Mims is not offering all you can eat shrimp but the restaurant is good and convenient. Iggy’s is also convenient and fun with live music. Beautiful ocean front view with nice pool. Not ideal for a beach day, however catching a taxi is no issue. Great location! Spacious and comfortable with lots of amenities. $10/person taxis to almost anywhere on island.

The morning sunrises are amazing. Great location, with access to two restaurants and beach. We really enjoyed our stay and would come back to stay again. Wish we never had to leave.

We stayed in this property due to the location close to our family members who rented a house close by. If I go back to St. Thomas I would prefer to be on the east side of the island. The condo was really dirty and they need a better cleaning service. And there were multiple updates needed. The ceiling fan in the master bedroom had a loud knocking noise and could not be used. And the master bed mattress was extremely uncomfortable. The hall closet door was broken and leaning in the closet. The electrical outlet in the spare bedroom sparked when our son tried to charge his cell phone. The curtain rod in the living room fell on my husband when he tried to shut the curtain. Took both of us to get it back up and it was barely hanging. There was also an unpleasant lady the lives above our condo that kept telling us we were trespassing. It was strange and irritating. I did like being close to Mim’s and the pool so that part was good, but overall we were not very happy and will not stay here again.

Amazing place!

My friends and I stayed at this property for a week to celebrate New Years - everything was awesome, from location to facilities. The place was relatively clean (sheets and towels were washed but kitchen could benefit from some deep cleaning) - we still disinfected all of it just to be safe. The interior of the apartment is beautiful, it also has a really nice balcony, ACs/fans/TVs in each room, enough cookware to make food for breakfast/lunch/dinner (we cooked a lot to limit our exposure to the covid risk and also to save up some $, which you do because everything is pretty expensive on the islands). The beach is 2min by foot, Mim’s bistro is right outside and Oasis restaurant is a 5min walk - you also see sunrise every morning right from your balcony, which is so breathtaking (And in the master bedroom). The beach is ok, a little rocky and there’s a lot of seaweed but the water is very clean and we did some snorkeling there. Just fyi, we really loved Trunk Bay/Hawksnest beaches in St John, which is only 15 min by ferry (you can get a taxi from the property to the Red Hook bay area where the ferry departs from). There’s also parking at the property, so you can rent a car and drive around (on the left side though). Taxi is by person only (e.g. we paid $12 per person from the airport to the property). Bathrooms At the place were clean and nice, there were a looot of towels - you should probably bring your own shampoos/shower gel though. Property manager was very responsive and super helpful, THANK YOU! Overall, we REALLY enjoyed out stay

Nice, but would choose another property in future visits

The condo is EXACTLY in front of Mim's restaurant, meaning there is no privacy from the time the restaurant opens till it closes. It would have not been much to mention but it became bothersome after a while for the reasons below. The following were items that would make me return: 1. Working living room drapes. They fell off and are impossible to close in addition to being to short and allowing the guests from the restaurant to peek at your living room. 2. No "medium" drape in the living room, either completely dark or completely open. 3. No place to put soap or shampoo in the master shower. Had to put all on the shower floor. 4. Extremely noisy master bedroom fan. A constant loud clicking had to shut it off. If the owners would invest on their property, I am sure they would get happier customers. Even a $2 item like a new kitchen sink strainer would benefit the owners by not letting debris go down the drain. Overall, nice place but needs some work.

love the island condo so so

I loved St Thomas and St Johns, However the condo we stay at left a lot to be desired. First while closing the drapes to the patio door they came loose and fell on my wife head and arm leaving a bruise, the place was dirty, the top of the frig looked like it had not been cleaned in months, tow of the four burners on the stove did not work , making it impossible to cook a meal for four. they supplied beach towel for us to use, however they were never pre-washed so after getting wet the blue dye from the towel ruined a pair of White op swimming shorts. last but not lease, they offered a discount for a boat rental, when I asked about it I was told he did not have time that week plus the water was to rough. I hired another boat and captain who had no problems getting us over to ST Johns. oh yea one other thing, fan in master bedroom stay on no way to turn it off. door to master bedroom were so hard to open we just keep them closed. Not a good experience.

Great place for a reasonable price

The location was perfect as it was an easy drive to Charlotte Amalie and to Red Hook. Good view of the water, nice pool and the condo itself was just as portrayed in the pictures. The wifi worked well as did the TV. All the items that you would need for a stay on the island were provided...chairs to take to the beach, a small cooler, and some snorkel gear. We just used the kitchen for a light breakfast each day but it appeared to have the basics if you wanted to do more. Plenty of paper towels, toilet paper, soaps, coffe filters, etc. We felt like it was a very safe area. A nice restaurant that was open for dinner each night was right out our door. Just a short walk down the beach and you are at Iggies/Oasis restaurant that has a nice pool bar and serves food all day.
