The holiday home was built as a farm house (approx. 170 sqm living space) around 1900 on the edge of the tranquil village of Abbenfleth on a 4,500 m² plot, as one of the last houses in an absolutely quiet cul-de-sac. After an eventful history, the house has now been completely restored in 20016/2017 and converted into a lovingly designed holiday home. It is particularly suitable for families with up to four children. The house was rebuilt while maintaining the old style elements and brought up to the current technical level. WLAN is now also available.
Where there used to be apple trees, there is a wonderfully landscaped ornamental and recreation garden (approx. 800 m²) in the front part of the property. The neighbors sheep graze on the back 2/3 of the property. From the roofed sun terrace of the house you look directly at the pastures. From the upper floor you can see the Elbe dyke and the upper decks of the large "pots" and crusaders passing by on the Elbe - including the Queen Mary.
On the ground floor you will find a large entrance hall, a spacious modern bathroom with bathtub and separate shower, a cozy kitchen with modern fitted kitchen and Nespresso machine, a large dining and living room, a cozy bedroom with a large double bed and space for an extra bed ( if necessary) and a dressing room. In the small basement of the house you can have a washer dryer.
From the living room you can get to the south-facing terrace next to the house and the large barrel sauna, which invites you to take a sauna in the evening. The sauna has a separate circuit and will be charged separately at the end of your vacation.
Passing the former animal stable, where bicycles can now be parked, you reach the large covered terrace behind the house. The terrace can also be reached directly from the kitchen using the abbreviation bathroom.
A staircase leads from the dressing room to the former hayloft of the house, which is now a large (approx. 70 sqm) children's play paradise with two double bunk beds (2 x 160cm) and a cot and a small balcony with a direct view of the Elbe dyke.

In about 800 meters you reach the beach area "Grauerort" with its wonderful sandy beach, which invites you to linger. On the way there, about 500 meters away, is a large playground. Not far from there is the old fortress "Grauerort", which was built in the 19th Century was built by the Prussians to protect against enemy ships and can be visited today.
By bike or car you are in the center of Bützfleth in a few minutes. There are 2 large supermarkets, a bakery and restaurants.
In Bützfleth there is also a large, well-kept outdoor pool. On the cooler days, the fun and adventure pool with brine thermal baths can be used in Stade.
By car and the nearby bus, you can quickly get to the city center of the medieval city of Stade with its wonderful pedestrian zone, the dreamy museum harbor and a fully lively and culturally developed Hanseatic city with modern shopping centers, shops and restaurants in all price ranges.
In addition to the cultural offers, there is also a bicycle rental in Stade, for those who want to use the “Elbradweg”, which is right outside the door.
The popular Krautsand holiday peninsula and the famous "Altes Land" fruit growing area are each 15 km away.
You can reach Hamburg Central Station in about 50 minutes using the metronome or the S-Bahn. The city of Cuxhaven and the North Sea with its Wadden Sea are in a comparable distance.
