“We are so glad we stayed at Cave Hill Farm B&B! The staff were beyond friendly and accommodating. The house was beautiful and peaceful. It was a short drive to Mashita, where we had an excellent dinner. In the morning, we walked downstairs and had a delicious breakfast while chatting with the other guests, which was all lovely. We look forward to returning. ”

“Host is a very nice and interesting to talk to. Farm had neat things to look at. Very quiet and relaxing. Didn't know we had to tell them we wanted breakfast ahead of time so we missed out on the breakfast both days. I don't know if that was communicated to me or not. ”

“The Inn is very cozy and comfortable. Art was very hospitable and really took care of us. The morning breakfast was freshly made and tasted awesome. My only negative comment is that there are not many places to eat that are walkable, and most close very early. There is a nice steak/chop house next door but closes at 8:00 pm.”

El hotel favorece la interacción entre los huéspedes (el desayuno es común en la misma mesa) y el desayuno es excelente. Pudimos darnos un Yacuzzi al aire libre por la noche viendo las estrellas que fue una auténtica gozada. Los dueños son muy amables. A él le encanta aconsejarte qué hacer, a dónde ir, y hasta te da documentación de rutas...

“Huge well appointed room. Incredible breakfast. Host was very accommodating to guest needs, as many of us had to be up early for UVA graduation. She made to-go breakfasts for everyone with fresh muffins, yogurt, fresh cut fruit. Lovely overall experience. Nice not to be in the center of town near Grounds. Very easy access when you do.”

“Hopkins Ordinary was wonderful. Spotless clean, inside and out. Great communication. Super friendly and helpful innkeepers. Gave us recommendations and directions for a hike. Loved having a fireplace in the room - worked well. Beer was great too - a wide selection. We will book again!”

“Very pet friendly, which is important to us, given that we have two dogs. Alan Webb, the host, has a cockatoo, which the dogs loved and which we loved also. Good proximity to the Skyline Drive, Charlottesville, and the White Oak Canyon trail in the Shenandoah National Park. Good breakfasts and good amenities in the room, with Keurig coffee maker, flat screen tv with streaming, and good wi-fi.”

“Marty was a wonderful host. The Inn could use a few repairs but our stay was very comfortable. Breakfast was great. Good location in downtown Orange, VA. ”

“We had a great time staying at the Squirrel’s Nest. The location is secluded but still only 15 minutes away from Shenandoah. The cabin was warm & cozy and a perfect escape from everyday life. Hot tub was a plus!”

“This has become an annual trip for my family. Very relaxing. Love spending hours at the rec center. The property is cool. Actually received brand new living room furniture on our second day. Only complaint would be the out dated TVs in the bedroom. I’m sure they’ll be changing those soon”
