Secluded & Romantic Log Cabin with fireplace on Private lake & 85 acres

TOTALLY PRIVATE!!! Our 85-acre parcel of land located in northern Dutchess County offers a variety of terrain for exploring - woods, streams, meadows, and even a gorge. We are situated next to a 105 acre land preserve with 3 1/2 miles of hiking trails in addition to those on our 85 acres.

The log cabin, on the shore of our privately owned 3 1/2 acre lake, is the only dwelling on the lake. Your closest neighbor is about 1/4 mile away. The 480 sq ft cabin is equipped with a small kitchen and bathroom, comfortable queen sized sofa bed, AC, TV, Wifi, wood burning fireplace, ceiling fan, and picture window overlooking your lake. We limit the number of guests at the cabin to only 2.

Great fishing and swimming! The lake has MANY large mouth bass but bring your own fishing gear! A rowboat and inflatables (in season) are available for your pleasure.

A large, stone fireplace and a picture window overlooking the lake are the special features of the cabin as well as the covered front porch with hanging chairs and redwood sofa and chairs. Sleep on a queen sized sofa bed in our large living room. Two large hammocks can be moved to your favorite spot.

Outdoor cooking is made pleasurable with your choice of a gas grill or a stone charcoal barbecue, and dining is done on a large picnic table sitting on a fieldstone patio under our gazebo or on a picnic table at the dock area. The gazebo has a ceiling fan and lighting. You can also dine inside in front of the picture window, if you prefer. A herb garden (in season) offers a choice of 12 different herbs to use in your cooking!

Outdoor lighting is available if you desire it but we prefer the stars and moonlight reflecting off the lake!

Many birthdays and anniversaries in addition to very small and private weddings have been celebrated at our HUDSON VALLEY CABIN!
