When you're not taking advantage of the fantastic winter slopes of Steamboat Ski Resort, kick back in the living room to watch a good movie on the large flatscreen TV mounted just over the fireplace, or catch up with old friends on the furnished balcony while watching the gondola transport skiers up the mountain.

We enjoyed our stay! It was clean and comfy. Easy access to the bike trail and walkable to the base of the resort. The pool and hot tubs were a hit for my family.

Trailhead Lodge was Perfect!

We had a great trip to Steamboat and loved Trailhead Lodge. The location right next to the chalet to the base was so convenient, especially with the little one.

Wonderful stay!

Such a lovely place with plenty of room. The grounds were beautiful and it had everything we could have wanted! The condo was very roomy and clean and I 100% would choose this condo over and over.

Great Ski Vacation

We loved our stay at Trailhead Lodge. We were in Steamboat for a ski trip and the Wildhorse gondola right outside was so convenient. We enjoyed the hot tubs to relax after a full ski day. All of the amenities made our trip wonderful.

Perfect Again!

This was our second time staying at Trailhead Lodge and it won't be our last. While not a ski in/out location, access to the base area couldn't be easier. Our unit was very well equipped, clean, and comfortable. Really appreciated the boot heater room and ski storage.

Winter getaway

The condo was beautiful and well lit as well as clean. It was a wonderful place to return to after a day on the slopes! Steps from the gondola, with warm cookies waiting in the lobby. The 3 hot tubs and swimming pool were a treat as well. Vacasa offers a free shuttle if needed which is very convenient. Grocery stores and restaurants are very close. Especially Brick, which is a restaurant just steps across from the condo! We will definitely be returning to this condo in the future!

Home was fine; but please tell me how you get a unit that sleeps 8-10 and only supply 1 parking spot? And then tell us the other vehicle (s) have to find their own parking not on the property??

Condo was very spacious and great location; only negatives to it was that is was on the 4th floor, there is another unit above you and the people staying above us was very noisy and the unit has no ceiling fans. Also, the bedrooms should have black out shades to keep morning sunlight out. The interior corridors were hot, humid & had smelled of musty odors. The amenity center should have working tv's in it and/or music playing at a low level just to have some background noise in it; it was way too quiet for an area that has arcade game and a pool table; needs to be more livelier.

Great place!

The property was immaculate - room was as well. Great location for skiing. Hot tubs were perfect way to unwind each evening. Teenage kids enjoyed the game room.

Great staff and location

We have been back to this property at least 4 times and enjoyed it every time. The staff have always been great, the heated boot room is really nice, and the gondola just outside the property makes it very convenient to get to the slopes. My only issue was with some of the other guests who walked around the floors with their boots on and some bringing in their skis inside their room, etc. I believe this was against the property rules. But the only sign I saw suggesting that was at the bottom floor elevator call button (not inside the elevators). It was rather annoying to hear guests walking/stomping around in the early morning hours and late in the evening with their boots in the hallway and in the room(s) upstairs.

Trailhead Lodge 4118

Check in was easy and quick. Room was modern and everything worked fairly well, room was spotless and decorated nicely. Beds were 'ok' and not as comfortable as others as it made our backs hurt. TV in spare sofa room was not working properly (satellite tv part), but with 3 other tvs and tons of stuff to do in steamboat it didn't really matter. Pools is big and plenty of space along with being heated. Three hot tubs help spread people out. Chairlift was not working which was a bummer as we wanted to take it up to the mid mountain. Card keys were sometimes sensitive and took a few tries to open the garage, pool or room. Parking is tight and congested with limited spaces.

Wonderful Property!

Great place, better than the pictures. Our family enjoyed all the amenities offered-pool, gym, and the unit was a great retreat. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Perfect Location, Comfortable and Quiet

The location was perfect, a few minutes to town, close to many activities, including hiking trails, fly fishing, kayaking, hot springs, etc. The unit was clean, comfortable with new furniture and appliances. The pool and hot tubs were enjoyable too. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Steamboat!

Great!

Great location an amenities. We can't speak highly enough about how easy it is to hop on the gondola and then go to the Steamboat Ski Area base. Gondola Runs until 9:00 p.m. on Friday Saturday and Sunday nights. If you're hypersensitive to noise (we're definitely not), the gondola does start up at 7:30 a.m. Other than that, fantastic experience will definitely come back and stay again!

Great condo location

The condo is very convenient with the gondola to the mountain, boot room, and and the free shuttle service. The reason we gave 4 stars is that the staff at the front desk, Heidi is very rude, uncaring, and unaccommodating. Also the grill was broken and was not fixed during the week we were there.

Vacasa was awesome

This review is really for Vacasa. We had a mix-up with the unit that we rented and had to switch units mid-stay. Vacasa more than made up for the inconvenience. They upgraded us to a beautiful unit for the last 2 days and refunded us for 2 days of our stay. This kind of customer service was outstanding. We will search using Vacasa-first-for all of our trips in the future.
