Location of the unit was great, but it was not very child friendly (very scary/tiny circular stair case and large gaps in patio railing) and the unit parking spot was pretty hard to find when we first arrived (the instructions given by the property management was extremely unclear and the locations are not intuitive or well labeled.)Also, worth noting that there is no laundry in the unit or building. You have to go completely off property.

This location can’t be beat! The ease of walking down to the gondola every morning is so nice. There is plenty of space for everyone, the unit has just what you need. We would def recommend this stay!

The amount of space is great, very functional and you can't get a better location or better view! The unit overall does need some tlc and a bit of updating, but that didn't inhibit our awesome stay - we loved it!

Accurate Listing
The unit is buried in the heart of Gondola square among the Steamboat employee offices. There are multiple paths to approach the unit so it can be confusing at first but you’ll find it, and the multiple ways will be convenient to access different parts of the square. The unit itself is nice but it’s definitely been around a long time. Don’t expect modern updates, but everything works. The shower takes a long time to heat up but it eventually does. The saving grace for this unit is the location. It’s a short walk to the gondola and has beautiful views of the lower slopes on the mountain. For the price, I would stay here again.

Needs an update
This unit needs a decor refresh - carpet and cabinets are very dated. Also, strange way to access the unit - elevator takes you to a exterior staircase then a hallway then another exterior staircase and then another hallway.

Convenient to slopes yes, but disappointed with the condition of this unit - not worth price
Love Steamboat and Gondola Square is where you want to be which is right where this condo is located - close to everything; but this property is not as advertised, and I would urge caution in selecting this unit for the price. We are discerning travelers and have high expectations at this price point - here is what we found in our stay from 2/17 - 2/24/18:
- Hot water in shower downstairs did not work. So we had to use the shower upstairs with access only via spiral staircase (small)
- The Hot Water in the shower upstairs you had to wait 5 - 7 minutes to get hot. Never seen that in any property before
- No ice maker in the frigerator - and I had not filled trays in 20 years! This is 2018 folks! The dishwasher was Brady Bunch era too (at least it worked)
- Unable to control heat anywhere in the condo other than the gas fireplace which required us to open the door to the master when it was -4 to 4 degrees F at night! wow
- pics of unit were not completely indicative of what you get. there is a loft with a separator and doesn't leave any privacy. Just be aware, the accommodations are tight up top.
- No jacuzzi
- No fitness center, both of which you would expect when paying this much. They should have access to a nearby shared area at the least
- All in all, this unit really needs refurnishing. The carpet, cabinets and furniture all appeared to be 80's/80s and just not what you expect when you pay this much for a week long stay.
We got the feeling the home owner is just milking folks since it is so close to the slopes.

I've asked the property management company (Mountain Resorts) for money back. No clue if anyone cares to make this right with us.
Only reason I did not give the place 1 star is the location.
