Heron's Nest is part of a very private 4 unit townhome site nestled into the trees on 1st Street w. We are the right half of the green townhome pictured, unit 205-b (kind of like a duplex) Location doesn't get any better, with the boat ramp, sunset point, and restaurants within walking distance. Walk over to Roy's waterfront restaurant and enjoy the sunset while having a nice dinner or check out the live music at Crabby Dads for a more lively atmosphere, and don't forget waterfront Hungry Howies for some Awesome pizza! No condo party noise to contend with at the townhome, just the birds and the breeze. The townhome has brand new furnishings accented with awesome artwork that are some of Steinhatchee's trademarks. Bedrooms are furnished with exquisite linens for a resort-like experience while on vacation. With 600 thread count linens and lush comforters, the hardest thing about vacation might be getting out of bed in the morning. This is not your ordinary Steinhatchee rental, and this rental is not intended for the party crowd. If you want a peaceful retreat that is super convenient to the some of the best fishing and scalloping in the state, then you have found it at Heron's Nest. Maddies Market is also a mile away for grocery items, and Ace Hardware 1.5 miles away for any last minute needs. Drop a kayak in right at the ramp and enjoy a peaceful paddle on the river, or River Haven will shuttle you up to Steinhatchee falls and kayak down river for a couple of hours of connecting with Old Florida. Head over to Dallus creek or Rocky creek and launch a skinny water boat in search of redfish, trout and flounder. Offshore fishing is phenomenal year round with grouper, snapper, cobia, amberjack, pink mouth, sea bass, spanish mackeral, and Kingfish being the bulk of your catch.
