  • Welcome to the Stephentown Hotel in the heart of the Berkshire & Taconic Mountains. Completely gut remodeled, the building reopened in 2023.

    Welcome to the `Crown Jewel` Triplex Unit of the historic Stephentown Hotel! Spread out over 3 floors: 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 2 living rooms, 1 kitchen, and multiple arcade games. Private entrance, fire pits, BBQs, private washer / dryer in unit and more.

    We are minutes away from Jiminy Peak Ski Resort, located in the world-famous Berkshire & Taconic Mountains. Nearby activities include Ramblewild Adventure Park, Tanglewood, New Lebanon Speedway, Cherry Plains State Park, Mount Greylock, Cinch Em Horse stables, multiple lakes, hiking trails, and more!

    Every stay includes water bottles, granola bars, Hershey`s mini chocolate bars, popcorn, oatmeal packets, coffee / tea, creamers and a fully stocked kitchen with all essential utensils.

    Apartment #3:

    First Floor:
    - 1 bedroom with a Queen bed and Smart TV.
    - Living room with a 55-inch Smart TV.
    - Bathroom with a bathtub.
    - Kitchen.

    Second Floor:
    - (x2) King bedrooms with Smart TVs.
    - Second living room with another 55-inch Smart TV.
    - Bathroom with a standup shower.

    Third Floor:
    - (x2) Queen bedrooms with Smart TVs.
    - Bathroom with a standup shower.

    We have two couches that are not pullouts, but we do offer two air mattresses for additional sleeping arrangements.

    Kitchen is fully stocked kitchen with all cooking utensils and essentials. Features a large fridge, dishwasher, microwave, and gas range. Private in-unit washer/dryer.

    Arcade: Located on the first floor with three games: NBA Jam, Golden Tee 3D golf, and Marvel Comics table arcade.

    The home features a Culligan whole-house water filtration and reverse osmosis system, providing clean, fresh-tasting drinking water from every faucet.

    Outdoor Amenities:
    - Private entrance off the deck with multiple Adirondack chairs.
    - Two outdoor amenity spaces with fire pits, BBQs, Adirondack chairs, picnic tables, cornhole, and various backyard games. Firewood and fire starters included.
    - S`mores Goodie Bag: Included with reservations from May 1st to November 1st.

    Included with Every Stay:
    - Water bottles, granola bars, oatmeal, Hershey`s mini chocolate bars, popcorn, oatmeal packets, coffee/tea, creamers.
    - Soap, shampoo, conditioner, individually wrapped toothbrush, and Colgate toothpaste.
    - Travel pack n play (Graco® Pack `n Play® On the Go™ Playard) with fresh sheets available upon request.
    - Travel booster high chair available upon request.

    Important Notes:
    - Stairwells: Original and grandfathered in; use caution as they are a little steep.
    - Verizon Wi-Fi with extenders ensures full coverage.
    - Climate Control: Ductless ACs throughout for heating and cooling.
    - Noise: The building is older, so you may hear noise from other apartments. White noise machines provided.
    - Security Cameras: Located at the main entrances around the building. No cameras in the unit.
    - Parking: Dedicated spots around the building. Permission required for boats/trailers/snowmobiles.

    Pets: We love pets and try to ensure you and your furry friends enjoy your trip! There is a $25 pet fee per pet. Any damage, unannounced or non-permitted pets will incur a $250 charge. With that in mind, we ask you to clean up as best as possible. If needed, there may be an additional $50 cleaning fee per stay (requested after the stay if necessary). This would reflect additional cleaning if needed.

    Infant and Kid-Friendly: Pack n play and travel booster high chair available upon request. Not childproof.

    Additional Amenities:
    - Games & Books: Monopoly, Jenga, Connect4, kids` books like `The Hungry Caterpillar` & `One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish.`
    - Essentials: Blow dryer in each bathroom, Keurig machine, sweetener, creamer, tea bags, corkscrew/bottle opener, pizza cutter, toaster, cutlery, cutting board, ice trays, dishes, pots, pans, spices, laundry detergent, and USB outlets.

    Linens: All towels, sheets, and duvet covers are laundered after every stay.

    Door Code: A new door code issued for your stay.

    Check-in/Check-out:
    - Check-in is after 4 PM.
    - Check-out is at 10 AM.

    Smoking: The unit is non-smoking. There will be a $250 fee for smoking / smoke damage.

    Overstaying without the Host`s Consent Policy:
    Guest(s) agree that a confirmed booking is merely a license granted by the Host to the Guest to enter and use the Listing for the limited duration of the confirmed booking and in accordance with the Guest`s agreement with the Host. Guest(s) further agree to leave our property no later than 10:00AM on the day of check-out. If a Guest(s) stays past the agreed upon check-out time without the Host`s consent, the Guest(s) no longer has permission to stay at our property and the Host is entitled to make the Guest(s) leave. In addition, Guest(s) agree that the Host can charge the Guest(s), an additional night of that day’s base rate without discount and any loss of business or refunds to other guests caused by not checking out on time (this does not entitle you to stay an additional night or give you permission to remain at our property).

    Cooking: When cooking in the kitchen, practice safe cooking habits do not leave burners on unattended. Please do not cook with strong-smelling ingredients. Lingering smells that require room closure, deep cleanings, or making a mess that requires additional cleaning will be charged a cleaning fee of up to $250 per occurrence.

    Smoking: The unit is non-smoking. There will be a $250 fee for smoking / smoke damage.
    Trash: Please bag or throw all trash in the cans.
    Dishes: Dishes & silverware can be left in the sink.
    Towels: Upon checkout, please leave all towels hanging in or on the bathroom floor.
    Pets: Pets must be given permission. We love pets and try to ensure you and your furry friends enjoy your trip! Any damage, unannounced or non-permitted pets will incur a $250 charge.     If guests are found to have had a party without host permission, guests will be responsible for extra cleaning charges and in the unfortunate event of the disruptions alerting neighbors, GUESTS WILL BE ASKED TO VACATE THE PROPERTY IMMEDIATELY.

    We want you to have a great time when you are here. But if things get too crazy, we go by the old-school rule of ‘you break it, you buy it’ and property damages or missing items will be charged to your credit card at market value.

    Room Privacy Policy:
    Host and/or Host’s employees have the right to enter your room without permission if you have a complaint about any aspect in your room that needs addressing, if the Host believes that you are engaging in illegal acts, or any reason to be concerned about Guest(s) safety, if Guest stays past check-out time, if any emergency repairs need to be made, and/or housing keeping.

    Please acknowledge that occasionally, we may leave consumables such as condiments or snacks left behind by previous guests if they are not empty. We try our very best to ensure that it is not expired or stale. HOWEVER, ultimately, it is up to the guests’ discretion and inspection to consume these items if they wish. The host does not take any responsibility for the consumables.

    Please do not rearrange our furniture.

    Lastly, because this is an Airbnb community, and it is also my home when I stay in Stephentown, please be respectful of the property and keep it clean before you leave. Respect our property and our things.

Great mini vacation

We stayed here because we had Tanglewood tickets which turned out to be a great stay… It was a beautiful drive getting there and close enough to Tanglewood. Our host gave wonderful advice on where to eat and places to go. Thanks so much for sharing your place with us. Would absolutely consider going back

Everything you need in Stephentown

This unit in the Stephentown is truly a gem. The space is beautiful, beds were comfy and they provide all the amenities you could need!….even extra toothpaste, toothbrushes, makeup remover, etc. The host reached out immediately after booking with tons of info about local restaurants and attractions - all of which were excellent. The property is less than 10 mins from Jiminy Peak as well as plenty of great restaurants and shops. My only heads up is that the stairs are somewhat narrow (it’s an old bldg so that’s not a big surprise). But be aware of it. Even still, it deserves 5 stars.
