Excellent Cabin, Excellent Location and Excellent Host and Caretaker

Cabin was fully furnished, tidy and completely enjoyable. The host takes every effort to make sure you have a genuinely enjoyable experience. We enjoyed it so much; we are looking forward to another stay next year!

Perfect location

This was the perfect location for our trip to Maine! We were about 45 minutes from Bar Harbour and pretty much everywhere else we wanted to go…. The property owners were involved, attentive, and made sure everything was taken care of!

The Great Escape

If you like the woods, water & privacy, this is the place. It was quiet & relaxing watching the Lobster fisherman check their traps, looking for Eagles that nest & feed close by, yet, not too far from Acadia & Bar Harbor & exploring northern Maine.

Remote quiet location be sure to visit all the towns close by go explore great lobster golfing and shopping much more than Acadia! Read the book Down East beyond Acadia! Take a boat ride! You will wake up to the lobster fisherman cool experience!

Quiet Coastal Retreat

If you are looking for property with privacy and seclusion away from the summer rush of vacationers, this is the perfect spot!This property features most all the comforts of home with beautiful views of the water from the living, dining and master bedroom. There is a fire pit with plenty of seating to enjoy the evenings. There are plenty of options for delicious food, groceries and adventures nearby. The owner was very helpful. She was in touch by phone and by email and offered lots of tips for activities and adventures in the area. We would absolutely return to this location.

Private house in the woods

The house was lovely and quiet. It had a good view of the water through the trees. The stars at night were amazing. This was a fully equipped kitchen, making meal preparation so easy. Great beds and nice linens. The living space was comfortable with “comfy” chairs and couch. Washer and dryer were a plus. Overall, it definitely ranks the highest of scores.

Family gathering spot

It has been 6 years since I have been with both my daughters in the same place at the same time. We had a lovely visit with friends who live across the water on Petit Manan Point, then explored Schoodic Point National Park on a beautiful day. The fog rolled in just as we were leaving. Your house is beautiful, and we really appreciated that it was available and met all our needs.

We drove 29 hours from our home in East Texas to get the full Maine experience for our eldest son’s high school graduation trip. This home was EXACTLY what we were hoping for!!! We wanted to be able to hike Acadia National Park but also be away from the craziness of the city life. This home is nestled in the middle of nowhere with a beautiful ocean view and a backyard fire pit that you can sit around and listen to nature and hang out with family. We had zero issues finding the home and everything was very clean!! The owner called me ahead of time to give instructions and advice. Very wonderful experience and I’m so glad they shared their vacation home with us.

The house was perfect! We saw deer, turkey, an osprey and a bald eagle! We loved the secluded location and ocean views. Since there is wooded space between the homes we heard no noise and the stars at night were amazing! The home had everything we needed for our stay and we would definitely stay here again.

Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home. It’s is remote.. which we liked. Kitchen had everything we needed and beds were comfortable. It took us about 1hr to get to Acadia and Bar Harbor area. The highlight of our trip was purchasing the live lobsters from your neighbors. 6 large lobster for 64! The fall colors were peaking while we were there. Absolutely gorgeous! I only wish we had more time to just relax and enjoy the house. We stayed so busy seeing sights all day. I highly recommend exploring the Schoodic Peninsula part of Acadia. It’s not as far from the house and such a beautiful drive. Navigate to Ravens Nest. A little tricky to find but definitely our highlight of Acadia.

Beautiful cove retreat

Our group of 6 was very comfortably housed in this well appointed home. The location was perfect for sightseeing or relaxing with a beautiful view. We were also only 5 minutes away from the wedding venue, Kelley's on the Cove. We look forward to coming back again!
