“The room was clean. Furniture sparse, but in good condition. Bed was comfortable and the bedding clean. Heating and AC unit was adequate for the size of the room. Bathroom was worn, but clean, and included a new shower unit with hot water on demand.
All and all a good road stop inn for a couple of nights stay.”

“This was our second time staying here, we came out for my husband's disc colf tournament. I loved it even more this time around. The happy hour is sooo nice, snacks drinks so great. Breakfast was great. Our room was so cute. It was just my husband and myself perfect space for 2. We were really bummed the hot tub wasn't opened, but they have a sauna we used. Thanks for having us. We will be back.”

“I had been wanting to stay at The Pines Inn and Cottages for some time, so I worried my expectations may be inflated - but I moved my bags in and never wanted to leave. 🌷 There are so many room details that make it easy to be away from home, the bed is so S-O-F-T, and the grounds are magic waiting to happen. It was lovely in early spring, but I can imagine what an amazing place the Inn grounds become later in the year. I cannot wait to reurn. 🍃”

On our last day of our stay we had to have our car removed at 0830 because Nevada City was having an event- which meant we had to leave early. There was no communication from staff about this. The room was very expensive for no ice or coffee for the room and no parking convenience. ”
