“We were very comfortable at the cottage! My girls said the couch/beds down stairs were comfy - and the bunk beds and queen bed were as well. Nice hot shower! Kitchen is small but adequate - added bonus of fresh eggs gifted by the hosts!! Hot tub was also great - sadly too cold to swim - but pool looked great! ”

The kitchen was stocked with all of the essentials, but if you were planning to make a larger meal (big bbq), you might be a little hard pressed for serving dishes/utensils. “We had a fantastic time staying at Independence Stay in Carlton Landing! Everything was perfect for our family of 6 (4 adults and 6 year old and 18 month old boys). The check-in was effortless with the front door code and everything was immaculate and there was plenty of room for all of us. My wife and I stayed downstairs and our son and daughter-in-law and our grandkids stayed upstairs which worked great and the kitchen was just the right size.
