“Nice large room (202) is upstairs, but has a great marina and inlet view Nice large king size bed, well stocked kitchenette, bathroom with shower over bath and separate toilet Egmont is an expensive place to stay, with little accommodation We have stayed here at Bathgate previously, and again this time , the unit is well situated with parking on site, and a small convenience store literally next door ( owned by same management)”

“I had a beautiful ocean view from my room. The hotel is a little older, but has clearly been upgraded. Clean, comfortable and the lady working the front desk was just the best.”

“The Rodmay Hotel has potential: it is definetely a heritage building and has some beautiful furniture but there is a lot of work to be done. It was clean and quiet but: 1. it took a long time for the hot water to arrive. 2. we couldn't shut the bathroom door. 3. the bathroom sink was very tiny with no counter space 4. the air was a bit stuffy.”

“Room was clean but carpets would need to be changed. Rear door did not lock with key card. Had to use the front door and make sure the deadbolt was locked on the rear door. Mentioned to staff. They knew about the problem but weren’t able to fix it.”

“Our room had cooking equipment. Pots and pans can be requested from yhe Office. Our room had no plates or bowls.”
