“The George Inn was an excellent choice for our first night in England, due to its proximity to Stonehenge and the reasonable cost. All staff were attentive and helpful. “My wife and I stayed at the hotel for 2 nights. The place is charming and an experience in itself. It is an old house, but the rooms are in a perfect condition and spotlessly clean. The staff is very welcoming and helpful. The location is great for exploring the area to the west of London, including Salisbury, Bath and Bristol in a car. ”
