“Myself and my wife booked this cottage as I was competing in a mountain bike event nearby. The cottage was perfect for our needs with large modern bright rooms and ample space. The garden looked very well kept with patio doors leading onto it. The parking itself was ideal with a courtyard immediately outside, just make sure you have checked the exact location first as the last 100m or so are on a narrow gravel road which isn't the obvious way if you haven't checked it out first.I would...

“We just loved our stay at Saltwater Chronicles. Beautiful, newly decorated lodge with a brilliant view of the sea. We loved walking along the rocks, exploring the caves, walking up through the stunning green glen to the impressive waterfalls. The two lochs are so pretty. Every member of the team we encountered on the estate was friendly and welcoming. The meals we ordered from the kitchen were delicious. Communications were quick and helpful. We can’t wait to return.”

Fantastic grounds with walks, lochs and a variety of activities offered within walking distance of picturesque Port Patrick. Excellent meals available from the estate and in Port Patrick. Breakfast included means a very substantial breakfast package on your arrival.”

“Nicely situated, well equipped cottage on a lovely estate with lovely walks including a short stroll down to Loch Ryan. The hosts were very helpful and provided an excellent welcome pack which included delicious chocolate brownies. They also provided a good information pack on where to eat and where to visit.”

“My friends and I had a wonderful weekend stay at Seabank. The property is homely and cosy (especially once the coal fire is up and running!) and the large kitchen areas made cooking and dining together very straightforward for our group of six. The local pub is less than 10 minutes' walk, although make sure to take a torch if you'll be returning in the dark! I would highly recommend Seabank to anyone looking for a base to explore the nearby walks and sights, or just for a quiet getaway.”

“We had a fantastic week. Great prooerty everthing you need and more. The cottage was very clean on arrival and the location is perfect. Our 2 grandsons loved how quiet it was and all the wildlife around about. Plenty to do and see for trips out and we would definitely recommend this property .”

“The house was an ideal setting to see in the new year. The area has lots of interesting walks and cycling routes. The hosts provided plenty communication ahead of the booking and accomodated for our youngest guest (1 year old). The property could benefit from a few more kitchen essentials (bin bags, dish clothes etc), but this a wasn't major issue. All in all, a really nice stay.”

“This is the first review where I’ve given an excellent rating for every category. We really having a peaceful day then going on a walk for a couple hours hours the next day. Lots to see and do in the surrounding area.”

“Very pleased with the size of the rooms . The lounge had enough seating for all of our party (11) and the large dining table was excellent. The bedrooms were roomy, including a couch as well as beds. The only downside was the 3 bathrooms were some distance away. A toilet at either end would have been more practical. The kitchen was rather small but well equipped.”

“Lovely big house, great surrounding countryside and views. Would certainly stay here again. House had everything we needed and Asda deliver groceries to your door. Perfect weeks get away!”
