The peaceful Canal lies behind the property and offers a beautiful walk along the tow path into the town centre which is only a few minutes away. No trip to this area would be complete without a visit to Williams Shakespeare’s birthplace which is only a 5-minute walk away where you can learn more about the famous playwright. You can even take in one of his plays at the Royal Shakespeare Company Theatre or visit Anne Hathaway’s Cottage. Throughout December, there are a number of christmas markets that take place in the area, giving the town a truly festive feel.

Take a boat trip on the River Avon, visit the Butterfly Farm, have a flutter on the horses at the Stratford Upon Avon Racecourse or simply enjoy the many shops, tea rooms, restaurants, and cafes this fabulous town has to offer. Further afield, within easy reach, are Kenilworth and Warwick with their ancient castles, Leamington Spa’s regency architecture, Birmingham, and the NEC.
