The cabin looked wonderful, furniture in great condition, electricity, and heat sources were checked- there was a storm coming in that night. The thing that changed my experience was having black house flies and lady bugs flying throughout the house, half dead on the floor, or dead bugs on the floor. We swept up piles of these bugs, and then they were constant through out our stay. They were in our food and drinks, and my young daughter was scared they were going to fly on her while she slept, and was scared to go into rooms because she did not want to step on them, or have them fly into her- which made staying in the cabin tough. The owner said these bugs are sometimes common and that she will look into it more. We were constantly having to watch out for the bugs around us the entire time we were at the house- which did not make for a pleasant time, or worth the money invested.
