This is a NOT a one bedroom apartment. It is a room at the hotel in Sturbridge that rhymes with flaza. I can only assume they are vague in their description of the accomodations because the hotel reviews are so terrible. We arrived and were told they did not have a reservation, even when confronted with the reservation confirmation number that was made and paid for 2 months prior to the arrival. They eventually got us a room. The common rooms were filthy. I mean sticky and covered in filth. The roof was leaking in the lobby. The carpets have lumps. The shower curtain was covered in pink mold/mildew. The bed was acceptably clean. There was no evidence of bugs. The toilet seat was only secured by 1 bolt and slid around like a man in a nylon bodysuit on a lubed up slip n slide. The coffee is terrible. They had one dollar general home coffee pot brewing for all the guests. No extra carafe. There was bread and cheerios. You could make a waffle, but the cleanliness standards made the communal waffle iron suspect. There were cigarette burns on the window seat and couch in the non smoking room. They give 1 room key. That is all. There is no maid service during stay. If you want fresh towels, you must turn in the used ones to the front desk where they will trade you like for like. There was a huge antiques fair in the area, so there was nowhere else to go. The staff seemed nice, but were ill equipped to handle the utter neglect and cheapness of the facility's owner.
