We truly enjoyed the Lake view here?.Getting access in was very easy and we were definitely happy to bring our small little fur baby. Enjoyed seeing all the Amish buggies and especially at night with a campfire you could hear them trotting by going home. Cabin had everything we needed. We enjoyed our stay.

Peaceful cottage overlooking the lake to refresh

Family visit

We needed a place to stay in the area to visit family. Clean, Homey and Beautiful Scenery! Our sons were able to get out and canoe the lake one evening. The host was very accommodating. They had yard games, board games and movie channels for rainy days. We look forward to a return visit.

Great stay

My husband and I stayed one night. It was a very nice location and a beautiful view from the deck. We will likely be back during warmer months to take advantage of the kayaks and fishing. The host was wonderful to work with!

Sand Lake Getaway

Relaxing stay at Sand Lake Cottages! Shady deck directly on the water for grilling or chilling. Lots of water toys suck as kayaks and paddle boards. We will definitely be back ❤️

A true cottage experience

My wife and I had a wonderful time at the Cottages at Sand Lake. If you are like us, and previously had never experienced a true cottage on a lake then we would highly recommend staying here. The lake is amazing because of how small it is, yet vast on how much sunshine you can really bask in from early mornings to late afternoons. We were fortunate enough to be there in an awesome weather pattern and fully enjoy lake life. The cottage itself: The back deck is pretty spectacular with the view of the lake, and just to start your day with a morning coffee. The use of the boats, paddle boards, and kayaks were awesome as well. The cottage itself is rustic and has a "vintage cottage" charm about it. This place is not for the party goers, but for the people or family trying to stop and relax at an incredible lake with awesome hosts.

Cozy cottage on the lake

Nice cozy cottage on the lake. There was plenty to do on the lake. They provided some rowboats, kayaks, and a paddle boat. The fishing from the docks was also really good. Would definitely go back there again.

Very good overall

We enjoyed our stay, but a few little things would have made a big difference towards a higher rating. The TV had Ruko, but no instructions on the rest of the settings. The channel on the main TV got changed, and we have no idea how to get it back to anything that was viewable. Minor, but just thought I’d mention it. Also, future guests should know that the small air conditioning unit does have a “high” setting. And again, no real instructions for that, and we didn’t discover it until the last day. It meant that the house got really, really hot during the daytime, it was hard to keep cool. Other than that, the lake view is great, the grounds are fine, and it was a good stay. The hosts were great, and we got to meet them as we checked in, and they may check in and check out very easy

In town stay

We came to town for a funeral and wanted a little place to getaway from all the commotion which comes with that. Was a cute little cabin right on the water. Was very easy to communicate with the owner and would stay again!

The house and everything was just wonderful. We didn't have a good time, not because of the owner or the property, but because of a case of siatica for my husband. I can highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a lakefront cottage, consider this one.

Fun lake house

We had a really great time staying at the cabin. Lots of fun things to do on the lake! Kayaking, paddle boarding, paddle boating, water trampoline, fishing and swimming. The cabin had everything we needed both inside and out.

Great cabin

We, along with our dogs, had a great time staying here. It was quiet, the neighbors were friendly, and the ice cream next door was delicious! We used the grill for every meal, the kayaks and paddle boards were so fun to use, and our dogs loved lounging on the deck. We would definitely come back!

Awesome lake cottage

Cottage was great, party store has a lot nearby. Grew up in the area so it was a blast being on Sand Lake again. I will definitely keep this in mind when we are in town again!
