    The Space:

    Rost Place Round-Up is a charming, dog-friendly single-level 2-bedroom cabin in Sturgis, set right across from the Boulder Canyon Golf Course — a cozy retreat with a furnished front porch made for stargazing and morning coffee. Outdoor enthusiasts will love the nearby hiking, biking, kayaking, fishing, and horseback riding, with the Sturgis Motorcycle Museum, Adams Museum, Bear Butte State Park, and Terry Peak Ski Area all within 16 miles.



    Inside, an electric fireplace sets a relaxing mood, and the cabin comes well-equipped with a full kitchen, gas grill, washer/dryer, and comfortable beds. Take in the stunning mountain views from the porch, then head out to the Sturgis Rally, Deadwood, and Mount Rushmore — a peaceful, pet-friendly Black Hills base.

We really enjoyed our stay! It was clean and an easy check-in / check-out process. We were surprised the AC was a window AC unit, but it kept the house cool. There were still wet towels in the washing machine from previous visitors when we arrived. There was a good amount of kitchen appliances/utensils that allowed us to cook most nights. Comfortable place and staycation!

The cabin was ideal and very thoughtfully planned out. A hook in the bathroom would be nice however for a towel or robe etc. We also enjoyed the friendly wildlife.

Home away from home. They have everything there that you need. Very well maintained and clean. Top notch decoration. You get in the wood feeling without driving into the woods. Lots of wild life. We were greeted with deer in the window multiple times. Nice location as we like to go to deadwood and drive all over the hills. Easy check in and out. Will be recommending this cabin to everyone I know!

Peaceful and Enjoyable

All though we ventured out daily for a new adventure, our stay was very peaceful and quiet. And we did have the chance to enjoy the occasional visit from wildlife like deer and turkey.

Overall 5 stars out of 5 Clean, quiet, beautiful decor throughout the house. Plenty of towels, kitchen well equipped Enjoyed our stay. Nice to see wildlife in the area.

Family Vacation

The house was as described and met our expectations. The view from the front porch is beautiful and just perfect for a quiet visit with good people and a glass of wine. The neighborhood where it is located is quiet and peaceful. We would rent again if we have the opportunity to travel back this way. Thanks for a wonderful stay
