“Located in the heart of the walkable Duval Street we loved the location. And the tiny little pool is a gem in their back garden… a great place for a pleasant dip after walking/biking all day. The Rum Bar across the street was a bonus too!”

“I really loved the homey feeling it had, and the smell from the bakery downstairs was amazing. I bought cinnamon cupcakes and they are to die for. Everything was amazing, including the service, the room, and the pool, but the only thing I didn't like was the stairs we had to go up. I was a little scared I would fall. Overall, I would definitely stay again and recommend everyone to book a room there if they stay in town. Connie was an excellent host and very accommodating to our needs.”

“We stayed in Mae-Mae's Room at the Steele Cottage and it was great for our needs. Well appointed, conveniently located and easily accessible, yet removed from the core downtown area for privacy. The breakfast service at the Duff Green Mansion B&B was good for a first morning, but the 3+ block walk is not directly toward the main part of downtown and the river. I suggest equipping the Steele Cottage with bottled waters and snack items in each room for optimal convenience.”

“We loved the house as well as the other guests. It is hard to categorized the place. I'm leaning towards hostel/ airbnb. We were assigned to the earth room, which was wonderful and relaxing, and we loved the note and details. Our favorite area was outside on the veranda (front porch). We took a midday nap out there. We also met and had amazing conversations with other guests.This place should be 5 stars for walk ability in downtown, safety, cleanest of house, creativity of the spaces and areas....
