“We stayed one night to break up a long drive. The accommodation is in a lovely rural area. The owner was very friendly, our room was spotlessly clean and the bed was really comfortable. The place is a little bit tired and needs a paint and the garden tended to. But, we enjoyed the location and driving through the countryside and seeing a few of the local villages.”

“The receptionist (male) seems to have a reputation for being aggressive and rude but we found him professional, rather than unfriendly. The hotel buildings are split and are on different levels with several dining areas and bars. Limited wine list but lots of beers, we had a reasonable meal although the venison was without flavor or texture. The bedroom and bathroom were fine and the free breakfast buffet was excellent with lovely staff. Free onsite parking was the final star in our rating!”
