    Spacious (650 sq. ft.) 1 bedroom 1 bath upstairs condo includes two twin bunk beds for families. Your Sun Valley home away from home includes full kitchen, dining/living room combo, 2 TV's gas fireplace and outdoor deck.
    This is simply the best location in town with front door access to Sun Valley's ski lifts, bike path and the Big Wood River. Picking the perfect location for your stay in Sun Valley is important. Leave your keys in your condo and make your stay a pleasant and memorable experience.

Our Stay at Pennays

Location was super ideal. We had our own designated path to the chairlift. The bed was a little uncomfortable but other than that, amazing!

There is something sweet about Penneys, a simpler time, a bit old fashioned, a little bit of old Sun Valley.

Almost slopeside

Great property - exactly what we were looking for. We rode the free shuttle to the mountain in the morning (stops across the street) and walked back in the afternoon. Quiet neighborhood. Accommodations were clean and comfortable. Great to have the gas fireplace.

Perfect location to ski and town! Cheri was super responsive and helpful. Unit a bit outdated with enough but minimal kitchen supplies. More than adequate for two of us. Would stay there again - sounds like updating units over time.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were lucky to find Pennays after a VRBO cancelled on us. I wasn’t sure how my 12 and 14 year olds would sleep in the bunks. They loved them and slept great. (Probably not great for anyone taller than 5’5”). Kitchen supplies just Ok. We were overall very happy.

Great location

I don't think you can stay closer to River Run, location is excellent. 0.25mi easy walk to the lift. The community hot tub was in questionable condition, the water didn't look good. That was a bummer. The accommodations are showing their age but are still in working order. Snow control across Sun Valley was very poor but that's not the owners fault. Ice management in the parking lot could have been better though.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is definitely the best location and the closest to "ski in/ski out" you can get at Sun Valley. It's a very short walk/ski to the gondola base and there's a lovely walking/bike path just above the property that we took our dog on every day. Being a dog friendly place was a huge bonus for us. The condo itself was fine overall - nice to have a full kitchen and the large fireplace was lovely. The bed was old and uncomfortable, but could be easily improved with a mattress topper from Costco. It was nice to have towels refreshed after two days and garbage service. The hot tub was large and we had it to ourselves each time we used it. The temp could be increased, especially since it's outside and people get snow in it. Overall, we were comfortable and the convenience of location and having our dog made it a great stay!

Pennay's is in the perfect spot near the river and hiking/biking paths. It's an easy walk into town yet the property feels private and exclusive. The Pennay's team is warm and friendly and the unit was exactly as advertised.

Nice unit within walking distance to River Run base

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Check in/out was very easy. Parking was conveniently at base of stairs to unit. Unit itself was quite spacious for two adults. Twin bunk beds in kitchen seemed like they would be a bit claustrophobic. Pretty easy walk to River Run Base of Sun Valley (maybe 7 minutes) and you can ski/skate if there is enough snow. Took about 15 minutes for easy walk to Ketchum center (Atkinson’s market). The kitchen is well-equipped and it was nice that they provided ground coffee for the coffeemaker. There was a strange odor in the bedroom/closet that dissipated if you cracked the window... not sure of the source. The foyer light bulb was out, and we notified management, but it wasn’t replaced during our 3 night stay. We had some trouble getting the fireplace to turn on after the first day, but it was very nice when it did come on.
