Skiing was easily accessible via the free bus. The room is quite dark and a bit dated. Cookware is cheap and of low quality, but got the job done. The beds were very comfortable.

The beds were soo uncomfortable. The bunk beds are stacked in the corner (by the bathroom?!) like sardines. The sheets had blood stains and the place felt a little dirty. The pictures made the place look way bigger than it actually was. Overall, would never stay here again.

Clean and ok.

Clean, accommodating, nice tv set ups, dated but smelled strongly of pine cleaning solution. Heavy/thick blanket on Master king bed; nice for winter but HOT for summer. Would be nice to have all information in one place inside the unit, instead of info about the fireplace in one spot and the WiFi in another spot and the parking tag on another, etc. We would stay again. Thank you.

The old cigarette smell when the door first opened was very disappointing. I would not have chosen that place had I known. Each time I walked in made me more upset. I sat out on the deck as late as I could.

Too old and unkept to even look clean … needs a serious deep cleaning throughout. The cutting board was filthy with goop and crumbs. This has a deceptive listing with pool and hot tub pictures that are NOT part of amenities. Place is neglected … needs an upgrade badly as it’s in a 70’s time warp. Kitchen is poorly outfitted with mix matched dishes and silverware. Not enough silverware to serve even 4. Pots and pans are in poor condition and there is only one serving bowl. Saran Wrap aluminum foil would be a nice thing to stock.. Folding deck chairs are broken and unusable. No ladder for bunk bed! Bunk mattresses are of poor quality … probably okay for kids but we needed one for an adult. Even though it was complained about before in last review … the body soap, shampoo, etc in the shower do not dispense and the caps do not come off so they are useless!Owner really needs to give this place some TLC!

I was visiting family so this worked for me but not great.

The dishwasher did not clean the dishes and someone put away dirty cups. The detergent was stuck in the dispenser. I asked to stay 1 hour after check out and was denied. I waited outside for my ride to the airport 45 minutes land noticed the cleaning crew didn’t appear. The mattress was ok not great.

Great spot- amazing deck!

Great spot to stay, spacious and lots of good pillows!! Bunk beds mattresses need replaced but our 5 & 6 year olds didn’t mind. Water pressure isn’t great for shower or kitchen sink but overall clean and comfortable. Shining star was sitting out on the deck! (Although two of the big comfy chairs were broken) Would love to have had a BBQ available but all around great and we’d love to come back!

Dark & Dated Condo in Great Location

As with many condo’s in Elkhorn, the interior is dark and a bit dated. Lighting is poor, but the location of the condo is really nice. Quiet at night, only a short walk to the hot tub, and close to the mountain for skiing. Unfortunately, we found the mattress extremely uncomfortable. After a week of sleeping on the hard and sloping mattress we were ready for a good night’s sleep on a real mattress. We also found the kitchen stove vent inoperable and partially installed. This was a project started by the owner, but never finished. This prevented us from cooking anything on the stove that might smoke like bacon or salmon for the fear of setting off the smoke alarm that is located over 12’ off the ground and impossible to quiet (which we did the first time…). The kitchen faucet let water out at a trickle and made washing dishes impossible. The maintenance guy told us it was because of calcium build up on the sprayer and needed to be replaced, but that never happened over our 7 day stay. We also found the washer machine didn’t provide any hot or warm water forcing us to only wash clothes in cold water. Not a huge deal, but it just added to the list.

Pretty Good Place to stay

There wasn't a lot of instructions to check in or check out so it felt a little weird to just pack up and leave. I didn't know if we were expected to do anything before we left. Comfortable place great view and deck but the furniture wasn't great. The bunk beds were really really thin and the couches were very squished. I would stay here again but would not plan on two people sleeping in the bunks.

Disappointing

Bunk beds for teens were uncomfortable, and unsafe with electric cables running along wall with lamps next to head. Worst place to put beds in hallway next to bathroom. Kids could not sleep anytime someone went to bathroom. Kitchen drawers not cleaned and no lint trap in dryer, so lint hanging outside of building- seems to be a fire hazard. No parking pass available upon arrival as indicated, and when requested them, we received wrong one, and property manager of HOA threatened to tow our car. Minimal utensils - only three spoons. This condo is not for a family but for a couple.

Room with a view

Vacasa answered all questions, offered great amenity passes, and had everything clean, comfortable, and welcoming. They took care of getting the fans, a nice deck to view the scenery, TV channels we like to watch, and it was close to other condos for grandkids to play with relatives. Small suggestions would be to flip or buy a new king size mattress for sleeping comfort, an ice cream scoop, and a new pop up toaster. Overall it was a great place to stay and would rent again. Thank you very much!

Great stay, unit could use a fresh coat of paint

Area is quiet and cozy, pools and hot tubs seemed to be closed, unit had a weird smell but was very clean and bed was comfortable. Teens slept on the hide a bed and said it was just ok. Kitchen had everything we needed. The unit could use a fresh coat of paint on all walls that were painted white. We had a nice stay.

Adequate place to use as a base.

Dated but comfortable. Extremely dim lighting. No AC and only one fan worked. Comfortable beds. Lots of towels. Nice neighborhood.

Sun Valley stay

This was a nice little condo that easily fit the four of us and could have fit two more. The pull out couch didn’t seem the comfiest so we stuck to the bunks and the master bed. No air conditioning so it was a little hot for our stay in June but they did have one fan we were able to use. Over all it was a nice stay in a nice area not too far from downtown!

Great spot for a ski weekend

The property is a short drive to the main ski area. Conveniently located. Parking was a breeze. Check-in was smooth. The interior is more outdated than it appears in the pictures but we weren’t expecting luxury so it wasn’t a bother.
