Perfect place

A Perfect Stay at Dragonfly Cottage!

We had a fantastic stay at Dragonfly Cottage! The place was spotlessly clean, beautifully organized, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed—and then some. The attention to detail made it feel like a home away from home. The host was an excellent communicator, making the check-in process seamless and ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our stay. We highly recommend this charming getaway and would definitely stay here again!

A Peaceful Getaway!

We enjoyed our stay at Dragonfly Cottage. We had everything we needed for our stay and good communication from the host. Extremely clean cottage and we appreciated the air conditioning as it was July. Two pizza places were less than a mile away as well as Sunapee State Park. The trees near the water's edge provided cool shade to relax under even in the heat of the day. There was always a nice breeze off the water. Wood and kindling were provided to build a campfire. Smores are always the best!

Close to mount Sunapee

Fantastic stay at this lovely house! Its proximity to Mount Sunapee was ideal. The house was well-equipped with everything we could possibly need and more. Communication with the property manager was prompt and straightforward. Highly recommend!

Clean and comfortable, great location

Stayed for two different weekends for skiing. The location is great--2-3 minute drive from the mountain and coming from the north so you do not get stuck in ski traffic on 103. The accommodations are clean and comfortable. the place is not huge and the bathroom is a little tight, but everything is in good condition. The large bedroom with three beds is great space for kids, with plenty of space and a big tv. Kathryn was easy to work with.

Wonderful accommodations

Love little beachside property, well equipped, tastefully furnished, air-conditioned perfectly. The beach was very clean and suitable for young kids. Waterfront sitting area with chairs, grill and fire pit for relaxing family time. Last but not least, very attentive hosts.

Great Spot, cozy and clean properly, beautiful views.

We got to stay at this lovely location with our teen children during their Winter vacation week. Sunapee resort is less than a mile away with nice skiing conditions. We truly enjoyed the views and accomodatios. Communication was great and we highly recommend this place.

Kayakers' delight!

Nothing beats getting up in the morning and being out on the water within 3 minutes: no lifting, grunting, hassle involved- just shoving out right from the beach, where the kayaks live in nice weather. That bliss overshadowed any and all other little issues- no internet connectivity for my up-to-date devices (my husband was able to hook in with an ethernet cord for his crappy laptop) and no washing machine (fine, just didn't know). Wonderful communication otherwise; loved the location.

Lake week

For close to ten years I have spent a week's vacation at various lakes in Southern and Central NH, I staying in many pleasant cottages. My stay at Firefly Cottage was probably my best visit to date. Kathryn and Eric are attentive and conscientious hosts, making sure the house is well equipped and everything runs smoothly. The cottage is attractive and comfortable. There are many thoughtful touches, such as providing bathroom amenities similar to those in better hotels, plus a basket of mosquito repellant, hand sanitizer, and sun lotion. No small detail was overlooked. The cottage is cozy and has nice views of the lake. My early morning swims were delightful, as were my excursions in the Sunapee area.

Great place for a lake vacation!

We had an amazing time! The house was perfect for 3 kids. Between the swimming and fishing and hiking and evenings around the camp fire this place helped make some amazing memories. We will definitely be back! And the hosts were great, very responsive and made sure the place was set up for a terrific week!

Perfect summer weekend!

The Dragonfly Cottage is very clean and comfortable! We had a great stay. Kathryn and Eric provided so many nice little touches. The lake was lovely and cool. And we were delighted to find yummy ice cream right up the road! Thanks for a great stay!

Fabulous! Loved this little cottage

This property is newly renovated and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The appliances are all new. The house was extremely clean. Just loved the loft! There is a picnic table on the grass at the beach which made meals and games outside a bonus. We were excited to learn that we could use the kayaks and took advantage of this. The lake is beautiful and very quiet. Would return!

The cabin was newly remodeled. The kitchen was great for cooking. Very close to Sunapee Mountain ski resort. Great location for a cozy ski weekend!

Excellent ski rental

This is an outstanding option for a short ski trip. The cottage is immaculate and cozy, with a well-appointed kitchen and spacious bedrooms. Our family of four had more than enough room. The views of the lake are gorgeous and the (very) short drive to Mt Sunapee is perfect. The hosts are great and very responsive. Five stars.

Quiet and cozy
