Perfect vacation spot in a quiet cove. The neighbors were friendly & helpful, the cove & doc was perfect for swimming & family fun. The house itself was 1st rate, well maintained and equipped. The host was very easy to communicate with and responsive. The gravel driveway can be a challenge so plan ahead.

Great family holiday at the lake

Great lake house right on the water-we love staying here because it is close to other family homes! House is comfortable, clean, everything is available for your use even though we spend most of our time a few doors up...nice dock and deck!

Family Lake Trip

The location of the house was perfect for our 4 and 7 year-old grandkids. We were able to walk into the lake, or jump off the private dock. We also had access to the lily pad and paddle boat, which made it a lot more fun!

Great family retreat

We used the house to stay close to our family place and we needed extra room-easy to walk back and forth so only really used it to sleep and shower! But very comfortable! Only complaint was the outside trash cans were basically already full when we got there-that would have been a real game changer had we been living at the house the entire time-there would have been alot more trash-that is a problem!! But only negative i could say about the place!!

It was nice that the property manager was so accommodating to our situation. The property itself was as advertised. A big deal was the private boat launch and how close the dock is to the house. No steep inclines.

A cross country trip

I had a group of nine women flying in from across the country to meet me in St. Louis and drive down to the Ozarks We had a beautiful stay in this home. It was fully equipped with everything needed . The home itself was in excellent condition . The property is fantastic. Lake access, and fun the entire time. We also went on a float trip and a cave tour at nearby places !! I will say, the driveway is a little scary and best to be backed out of if possible, loose gravel is the issue ,, plus a hill . But when an emergency popped up and I needed an extra nights stay the host was more than gracious to accommodate me. This is a 5 Star Place and I would recommend to anyone.!!!

Nice Home!

The home was nice and we enjoyed the paddle boats and fishing. Home was equipped with everything you need and was clean. We also rented trailer but didn’t stay in it due to other reasons. The host Ms. Rosemary was very friendly and tried to help us solve any issues we had. The family enjoyed the home.

This is my 2nd year staying at this house. I am very fond of it. It's extremely clean and provides everything one needs. It has a great view of the lake from the deck and a dock for your boat. There is also a fish cleaning area and power at the dock for charging batteries. There is a boat ramp next to the house but check lake levels as many of the ramps do not become usable until at least mid april. There is an outdoor firepit as well. Also, its a very quiet neighborhood with little traffic. The town of Laurie is about 3 miles up the road for anything you need. I recommend "Chances R" or "Redd's BBQ" as dining/bar options or "Carmalitas" for Mexican. The owner is easy to work with as well. I would recommend this home to anyone. Although I was solo this home could easily accommodate larger families.

Fishing trip

The boat slip and private ramp wired out great for me. 21 ft boat was manageable in the available space.(recommend 4x4 tow vehicle as it is steep and gravel above concrete ramp) We didn’t spend much time in the house, but is very nice and beside food and drink had everything we needed. No complaints!

Great time on the lake!

We had a mini family reunion with family who live on the lake full time. Our VRBO was a perfect location for a part of the crew. The bunk room sure helped. Never used the 2 kayaks but did use the dock and paddle boat and Lilly pad - all great. House easily sleeps 9 (w/ the bunk room sleeping 5 of the 9). Kitchen, dining room & living room all well stocked - it all just worked. Thanks!

Perfect place for small family gatherings

Not too big, yet big enough to host single family gathering. We did have to request for basic items that should have been there like paper towels , hand soap, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, and laundry detergent etc. Place would benefit from having a better ice-maker. Once emptied, it never filled up again and have a nice griddle to make a nice breakfast on. Otherwise, being right on the water is amazing. Having a boat launch on site is very nice and convenient. Having 2 kayaks, a paddle boat, and a Lilly pad are also extra perks to have on site if you don’t plan on having a boat the entire trip. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Hasn’t Disappointed Yet

This lake house hasn’t let us down. This is our 3rd or 4th visit i can’t remember for sure. Great set-up. House is comfy and well furnished and clean. Dock set up is great. Wonderful swimming and views and amazing fishing! We caught our limit several days. Highly recommended. Owners are great, good communication. Love everything about it.

Perfect location for our family as we have additional family in the area! Well set up for lake life-perfectly comfortable for our family with variety of ages from 70 to 3!! Very clean as well and Rosemary was easy to work with and very accommodating!! We are already planning when we can stay again!!

Family Trip

We stayed for 3 nights at this property for a family trip. We had 5 adults and 3 kids at the main house and 3 adults and 2 kids at the optional space. We had everything we needed for a fun time at the lake. Check in was a breeze and there’s ample parking on a gravel driveway. Inside we had enough towels for everyone, a fully stocked kitchen, amenities in the bathrooms and comfortable beds. The pack n play was useful for my 1 year old. Outside, everyone had fun on the paddle boat, kayaks and lily pad provided. Plenty of life jackets for all ages. Great fishing just off the dock. We had our own poles but there were a couple of poles there. With so many water toys already there, we did not have to bring much and with 3 kids, that was a relief. The grill worked great. In the evenings we made s’mores at the cowboy cauldron, sat around the fire and played cornhole. The wifi is enough for calls and texts but not the best for streaming. We could not watch much on the Roku tv without it freezing. YouTube kids worked fine for the kids when we were stuck inside due to rain but Disney wouldn’t play for us. There was a DVD player so if you want to bring some DVDs for a movie night, that’s an option as well. The property is on the older side but everything was clean and comfy and it had all you will need to enjoy the lake. Rosemary responded to any questions we had leading up to the trip and during our time there and it was a delight to rent this property from her.

Excellent rental

I booked this home for a fishing trip and had an excellent stay. The home is in a very quiet neighborhood about halfway back in a cove off the lake. Launching my 19 foot boat was no problem and the covered boat dock had more than enough space to dock it each evening. There is also power at the dock to charge your batteries and also a place to clean the days catch. The house sits around the 40 MIle Marker of the lake (its 93 miles long!)....so your mid-lake and in a area where its convenient to access the lake going either direction. Your about 3 miles to Laurie where there are 3-4 good restaurant/bars for dinner. Many Many more places in the area as well. The house was perfect and offered great views of the water from both inside and on the deck outside. Check in was a breeze and Rosemary was easy to work with. One of the top 3 lake rentals I've ever stayed at!

Amazing again!

Our second time at this lake house this summer did not disappoint. Kids loved the swimming and husband loves that he catches tons of fish right off the dock. House is perfect and clean. Definitely recommend.

Peaceful location

Great space and location. Quiet cove for fishing, swimming kayaking etc. The house was clean. It had everything you need to cook if you don’t want to eat out. Lilly pad mat for floating. Great place to stay!
