I apologize for any inconveniences your family may have had. The only issue that was brought to our attention was with the DirectTV. I immediately reached out to DirectTV to try to resolve any issues Unfortunately, being in the mountains, tv and internet are not always up to standards we are used to being in/near the city. We are very disappointed with your review when we went above and beyond to accommodate you. First of all, I would like to clear up all misinformation you posted. Your stay was scheduled for July 1-8. You chose to leave on July 7 and told us you would return to your home in Greenville. That’s 6 nights/7 days, not 4 days as you posted. Records can be pulled from the gate to verify dates/times of exit/entry of the community You chose to leave one day prior to your planned departure because of a water main break (out of our control) and loss of water for less than 12 hours. To say you encountered no running water is misleading. We paid for emergency weekend service to have this fixed the same day. When you complained about a/c not working, it was explained that in 90+degree weather with floor to ceiling windows on 2 sides of the main LR, it takes a little longer to cool that room. There was no issue with the rest of the house. Again, misleading to say there was no a/c. You texted saying DirectTV wasn’t working in main LR. We explained that sometimes the DirectTVneeds to be reset after a storm or wind. We gave you very specific directions as to how to reset. When that did not work, you asked for DirectTV info so you could call. Also, on July 2, you informed us that the other tv’s were only showing basic channels. We gladly gave you the info and authorization to call and all issues were resolved by July 4 as per your text and info from DirectTV, so to say there was no DirectTV is misleading. We went above and beyond to address any issue you had, all of which were out of our control. This is a home we use often for ourselves. It is not just a rental property. We rent to other families when we aren’t there so they can enjoy everything the beautiful Upstate has to offer. It was extremely disappointing to hear from our cleaning crew the disgusting condition you and your family left our home. Our home was treated like a frat house, not a multi-million dollar home. **All of my information can be supported by text messages, records from DirectTV, records from the community and photographs.
