This magnificent sky-home is located in a superb location with sweeping ocean views, and in easy walk of local shops, cafes, BBQs, playgrounds, restaurants and of course the magnificent Kings Beach.
The (Level 2) home is spacious, brand new and extremely well-equipped, especially in the kitchen. The decor and furnishings are comfortable, minimal and beautiful.
There are 2 car spaces in the basement allocated to the apartment, but they are quite small and run alongside a wall, making parking a bit tight. But there were always available on-street parking spaces in clear sight from the balcony.
The balcony is very generous in size and has good outdoor furniture for relaxing in, while watching the interesting ships sailing past. (Bring binoculars to get an even closer look)
Our family of 5 adults really enjoyed staying 2 weeks in this beautiful home.
Unfortunately, the property manager failed to bring us a 2nd set of keys which we requested twice, therefore making co-ordinating with family quite difficult as you need the key fob to use the lift or access the basement. (She promised both times to drop them off to us) Insist on the 2nd key set when picking up keys on arrival. You will need them.
The dishwasher didn't work and apparently the previous guests reported this as well. This didn't bother us too much, so check it's fixed if this is important to you.
The most disappointing aspect is that the property advertises a pool - a private pool. The pool is a tiny plunge pool located in what FEELS like a part of the ground floor unit's outdoor area (it's not technically). It's a true fishbowl. There is absolutely no poolside area, none at all. So, if you are after a holiday that includes lounging by the pool, then this is not the property for you. There is a public pool up the road and of course the beach is right in front of you.
All this aside, it is a truly magnificent apartment.
