“ The 1863 Inn of Gettysburg is an excellent choice. Centrally located, you can walk everywhere in town, and even to parts of the battlefield. The rooms are large and comfortable, and the free breakfast has lots of choices.”

“Our trip was amazing. Pam, Dallas and their singing dog, Mac were a delight and breakfast was delicious! A beautiful property. ”

“While the place is very cute, there were many odd things about it. First and foremost, there is NO AC in the room. Room description also advertised a bathrobe and desk and those were not provided either. I had to sleep with two fans and one window open (the other two did not have screens). That night, I went to get a drink at the coffee bar and the common area was very dark and could not find a light switch anywhere. I was told by other guests that the back staircase outside had a broken step...

“The pool has trees growing, the bathroom door was grime and lipstick . So we really needed a place to stay overnight . It was a bit gross. Sheets and towels were clean , no bed bugs, fridge, ac worked . A big space under the door so we put the rug to block it . No batteries in tv remote, cigarette burns on the bedspread which was also the blanket . I’m not sure if he is trying to fix it up or just doesn’t care . Pay a bit more and don’t go here .
