“Historical spaces inside the Hotel were fun to investigate and provided an insight into the history of the property and its role in the city of Red Wing. Restaurants onsite were very good. Proximity to AMTRAK makes for an interesting commuting option. Train noises were loud at times. Quirky property overall, mostly in a good way. Overall the rates are a bit pricey. That said we will likely return when we can get a deal.”

“Great place to stay if going to Mayo. You don’t have to go outside to get to the buildings at Mayo with the subway level. Food is good for 2 meals a day. There’s room service & deliveries from Instacart if needed for groceries or outside food/beverage source. Personalized concierge service is good. Our stay was 10 days - they accommodated our extended stay flawlessly. My only complaint is the room temperature everywhere; it can be stuffy moving place to place. Take a fan to cool off in...

“In town for the Blues Festival, awesome experience if you’ve never been. Much better place to land than a hotel or camping! Interior space is nice, exterior space needs cleaning and maintenance. We would not stay here again simply because of the parking situation and the requirement to back out of a long driveway onto a busy road. Not easy to do even with our compact car. Recommend bringing your own cookware as what is provided is scant and old with teflon flaking off.”
