Beautiful setting. 30 minute drive to Acadia. Service staff were very friendly, housekeepers could benefit from more guest oriented training. Breakfast was very tasty. If you think glamping isn’t like camping be aware that while you have the benefits of a bed, a fireplace, and a bathroom, you are still in a tent. You will hear all noises and everyone will hear you. Your tent will be whatever the temperature is outside, so if it is cold out your tent will be cold. The fireplace helps a little, but it has to be tended every 1-2 hours, which means you either wake up constantly or you’re freezing. For the price, I’ll go with a cute cabin or cottage next time.
