Beautiful home with fantastic spaces and amenities. The pool is a great size and the garden is very relaxing. It’s a great base from which to explore Istria with local food producers on your doorstep and towns such a Rovinj and Labin within easy reach.

Excellent from start to finish

We loved our spacious and luxurious farmhouse. It was perfect for our family holiday. Peaceful and serene, with many birds and fragrant plants. Comfortable and well-appointed. Communication with Paul (the owner) and Djuliana (caretaker) was seamless. We even had a a sample of Djuliana’s dad’s excellent produce and wine! They were warm, kind, and helpful. The area is easy to navigate with everything you could want within easy striking distance (beaches, cultural spots, even wineries and the excellent Doma restaurant in walking distance!) Parking is a little tight with unforgiving stone walls, but you’ve always wanted to practice your 15-point turn, right?All in all, a wonderful stay. We were very sad to leave.

tolles Haus in ruhiger Umgebng

Wir hatten eine sehr erholsame Zeit im Jopi-Hose. Sehr schönes, großes Grundstück, toller Pool. Wir waren mit unserem Hund unterwegs, die Lage im grünen ist ideal dafür. Das Haus ist sehr schön eingerichtet und bietet wirklich die Möglichkeit sich wie zu Hause zu fühlen. Highlight ist für Leute die gerne kochen die tolle, perfekt ausgestattete Küche. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter war unkompliziert, alle Fragen wurden schnell und gut beantwortet. Klare Empfehlung!

Amazing place

We stayed for a week and thought that the house and location were ideal, we could get to anywhere we wished within 30mins and we really appreciated the surrounding peaceful countryside. So beautiful inside and out. Many hours were spent in the pool with a very handy outside shower. Indoor had everything you could ever need to prepare food and provide comfort. Would recommend to anyone, very pleased with our choice, and the host was extremely helpful and informative.

Ein sehr schönes Haus in wunderbarer Lage. Wir waren wahrscheinlich die ersten Gäste im Jahr, deshalb waren die Betten und auch die Kleidung in den unteren Zimmern klamm. Da hätte ich mir einmal durchheizen und lüften gewünscht. Auch eine 2. Garnitur Handtücher wäre bei 10 Tagen schön gewesen. Und leider hatte Juliana recht, als sie uns vor den Ameisen "warnte"........ Ansonsten gerne wieder!

Schönes Haus für einen Urlaub

Das Haus ist toll, allerdings mit kleinen Abstrichen...bei Gewitter und Regen ist das Haus an einer Ecke undicht, der Strom fällt relativ leicht aus und uns war der Pool einfach etwas zu kalt. Desweitern fehlte uns in der Küche etwas an Geschirr (z.B. nur 4 Tiefe Teller und 3 Biergläser...) kann man alles improvisieren und ist kein wirkliches Problem. Für Hundebesitzer wie wir es sind: das Grundstück ist am Carport komplett offen und zum Haus dahinter (welches man auf Bildern leider überhaupt nicht in der Beschreibung sieht), ist nur eine kleine, leicht zu überwindbare Mauer. Also die Hunde sollten keine sein, die weglaufen. Zur Ruhe: wir sind Dorfmenschen und absolute Ruhe von zu Hause gewöhnt - die hatten wir dort leider nicht ganz so. Der Hahn war ab 5.00 Uhr fit und die Grillen extrem laut in der Nacht. Wir haben Stemmgeräte von anderen Baustellen wahrgenommen und wenn die Nachbarn im Haus dahinter lauter sind, hört man die natürlich auch. Auch die Dorfjugend war immer ziemlich lange auf ihren Mofas unterwegs und hat einigen Lärm gemacht. Aber das sind wirklich nur unsere Eindrücke und machen das Haus keinesfalls schlecht. Für den Preis allerdings, der sich im oberen Bereich befindet, fehlte es uns etwas an Luxus (das kennen wir auch anders) Der Kontakt zum Vermieter und zum Hausmeister waren sehr angenehm.

Stunning farmhouse property

The minute we walked on the property we fell in love. Gorgeous farmhouse that has been upgraded to the highest standard. The outside space with the pool and the quiet setting was so relaxing. The inside space is very spacious, clean and so well appointed. We didn’t want to leave the villa! Waking up early and listening to the quietness of the countryside was everything we wanted. The location was great as it was about 1/2 hour to many different towns. The host was very helpful and responsive. The on line listing is completely on point, in fact, the pictures don’t do it justice. Beautiful experience we had. We hope to be able to come back one day.

Tolles Haus

Ein wunderschönes altes Bauernhaus mit Anbau. Sehr großer Garten und ein toller Pool. Ein großes Lob geht an den Hausmeister Vinko der immer hilfsbereit war und uns mit Alkohol und Salat versorgt hat. Vielen Dank für die Gastfreundschaft.

Wunderbar erholsam!

Das Haus ist ein Kleinod. Es fehlt an nichts, außer vielleicht stabilem WLAN. Wir haben uns in der Ruhe sehr erholt. Das Elternzimmer im Obergeschoss ist traumhaft, die Kinderzimmer etwas dunkel und Stauraum begrenzt. Der Pool und der Grillplatz sind sensationell und die Hängematte im Walnussbaum war der Lieblingsort von allen. Zum großen Supermarkt in Zumij ist es nicht weit, Ausflüge ans Meer und in die schönen Städtchen an der Adria sind eine halbe Stunde entfernt. Wir werden sicherlich wiederkommen. Vielen Dank auch an Nicky und Vinko für die Gastfreundschaft!

Ein wundervolles Haus für einen erholsamen Urlaub!

Wir waren mit 2 Familien, 2 Kindern und Hund zu Gast und waren von dem Haus, Pool und Garten begeistert! Es fehlt an nichts und wir wurden von Nicky super betreut. Vinko, hat sich um unseren Pool gekümmert, uns mit Obst und Wein aus dem eigenen Garten versorgt und uns sogar zu sich eingeladen. Das Haus war super super sauber (vielen Dank an Giuliana). Das Restaurant "Konoba Doma" ist fußläufig zu erreichen und auf jeden Fall ein Empfehlung für alle die dort Urlaub machen. Der Schotterweg zum Haus ist überhaupt kein Problem und wir hatten sogar mit 2 VW Bussen auf dem Parkplatz ausreichend platz. Vielen Dank für den schönen Urlaub!

Oase im Hinterland

Sehr gepflegtes Haus, Grundstück und Pool, super sauber, äußerst gut ausgestattet ( mehr kann man in einem Ferienhaus nicht erwarten!), Klimaanlage in den wichtigsten Räumen und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in 1 - 5 km Entfernung, alle Sehenswürdigkeiten, tolle Strände und die malerischen kleine Orte der istrischen Küste erreicht man in 20-40 min mit dem Auto. Nicky, die Verwalterin, kam persönlich zur Begrüßung vorbei und war jederzeit erreichbar! Einziger Minuspunkt: das Bett im Hauptschlafzimmer war nicht sehr bequem (Futon Stil) und etwas in die Jahre gekommen.

sehr schönes Haus - Sveti Petar…

Liebevoll eingerichtet und charmantes Haus, tolles großes Grundstück. Das Haus liegt am Ortsrand, für uns perfekt da es schön ruhig war. Die Anfahrt ist auf den letzten paar Metern etwas abenteuerlich, da Schotterweg. :) Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen durch einen sehr hilfsbereiten und freundlichen Helfer vor Ort. Der auch während des gesamten Aufenthaltes immer wieder mal kurz vorbeigeschaut hat und gefragt ob alles i.O. ist. Vielen Dank an dieser Stelle nochmals an Vinko! :-) Auch Fragen rund um die Buchung und zum Ablauf wurden stets schnell, sehr gut und stets freundlich durch Nicky beantwortet. :-) Wir waren insgesamt sehr zufrieden und wer einen ruhigen, erholsamen Urlaub sucht ist hier richtig aufgehoben!

Great Escape in Croatia

If you do not come for Croatia, you come for this property, garden, and pool. If you do not come for that you come for the luxurious kitchen and fire place that makes every evening a relaxing experience. Than their are great books and comfy sofas. Enough room for you your family and friends. There is also a outdoor grill and seating with a beautiful view of the pool and garden. Count the sheep next door or the olive trees in the garden to come down. A nice little wood nearby for a little evening stroll, a great restaurant and cafe in walking distance. Parking space for two cars, washing machine, oven, dishwasher, air conditioning, floor heater, fridge everything you could need. Griceriey shops in 5-10 minute driving distance. Two very forthcoming gentle souls that take care of the house and garden and are at your aide whenever you need them. In short, we had a splendid time. Just coming here to relax and reset. You really do not have to leave the house if you do not need to but if you do it is a great place to come home to after a day of experiences and discoveries in Istria. This is a gem we would like to return to … and if it is only for the comfy evenings in front of the fireplace.
