Charming Cottage

This is a charming B&B Cottage. We stayed for two nights, and the hosts are just lovely people. We will stay there again when we visit the area.

Mountain getaway with great hosts!

We had a wonderful stay. The room was everything we needed very clean and comfy and decorated well. We love the hosts and their hospitality and will return.

Beautiful little cottage just off the main road and close to the Ricketts Glen trail. We absolutely loved our stay and hope to be back!

Weekend hike

Excellent stay for a weekend hike. The location is close to the trails, beautiful room and amazing hosts. We will definitely be back.

Cottage in the Woods is a gem

Staying at the Cottage in the Woods was wonderful. It was a nice retreat after hiking the Glen. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming, the property was inviting, the room was super cozy, and breakfast was delicious. We would stay there again!

Lovely place to unwind

It's the coziest cottage to spend a special time with your spouse at. The host was extremely friendly and hospitable and yet we felt like we had our space to unwind and relax and they're building a cute little coffee shop/gifts on the property. It's closeness to Rickets Glen State Park is a plus!

Cottage in the Woods was an excellent place to stay and celebrate our anniversary. The property is cozy and beautiful, hosts are very friendly- welcoming us like family. Breakfast was delicious and so filling- just what we needed for our full days. Claytonna was so friendly and engaging, sharing the “things to do” in the area. Accommodations were wonderful, and a perfect location to enjoy Ricketts Glen State Park. We will surely return for a future stay!

Perfect Stay

What a wonderful place! Super clean and very welcoming place. Claytonna is a wonderful host and a great cook. Breakfast was large and delicious. Location is perfect for a visit to Ricketts Glen. Can’t wait to visit again. Don’t miss out on a stay here.

A Wonderful Respite!

The pictures don’t do it justice, such a cottag-ey feel, beautifully decorated! The bed was very comfortable, the space clean, delicious breakfast, and super friendly service. We enjoyed a day of hiking at Ricketts Glen. Will recommend to friends and family.

This is an exceptional B&B. The decor is tasteful without being glitzy. The comfort level is terrific. The outdoor area great for relaxing in front of the fire. The highpoint of the stay are the hosts. Pleasant, accommodating, knowledgeable about the area and then, they disappear. You now have free reign of the area to enjoy your privacy and stay. I would highly recommend this Cottage to anyone wanting first class accommodations and stellar hosts in a beautiful mountain setting!
