This hotel looks NOTHING like the photos!! The phone number on the sign outside is disconnected. There is NO AC. The manager Rony, doesn’t care if Expedia overbooks he will tell you good luck finding another place it’s not his fault. DO NOT BOOK!!!!

This should not be a hotel they didn’t change the bedding from the people before the towel had black marks the microwave was the most vile thing I’ve ever seen it was black and hadn’t been cleaned in side it the smoke alarm was hanging from the ceiling I didn’t even stay I got my things and I left they didn’t even look at our booking they just put us in a room there’s no reception and the place looks like it’s being fixed while letting rooms out

Shower tray was stained, water clogged both in basin and shower. Room's smell was damp, off putting smell in shower room. Another room was offered with similar smell. First floor bathroom was offered to ground floor room. Complementary drink was ONE teabag and seven-ten package of sugars. Kettle was well limestoned. We arrived early. Asked staff (owner?) for put our bags down somwhere until check in time. He'd show an unsafe place, two minutes later he opened a ground floor room, THEN charged us for early arrival £25. I did not wanted argue. We weren't know the town enough. They not provided towels enough on our arrival, then after a few hours we've got two damp but clean towels. They tried to tell us something about the dryer, but at this time I was not in the mood to argue, furthermore we travelled a 17 years old officially disabled, autistic kid. They also told they can put unclogger liquid to our shower, but it takes more than a few hours, so maybe we cannot use the shower. I tried to mention them the daily shower is basic. The only positive thing was the number of USB ports, however one of the socket was out from the wall, it was dangerous, we never touched. We only booked this place because of the closing date of the Fairford Airshow. Now I know the area, next year's airshow I will find a nice hotel in Cheltenham, or go straight away to Holiday Inn Gloucester IHG again. I have pictures from all I mentioned, I am happy to provide if needed. Their service defo not 3 star!

Terrible service, the hotel is not suitable for human consumption. Leakage whilst we were sleeping, dirty shower couldnt use it. I will not recommend to anyone.

Should be shutdown

Shocking! Decor looked like a war zone once you left the dining area, and the hotel was left totally unmanned overnight to the point when I called the telephone number in the morning just to check out and get my car which was blocked in the car park. I was told no-one was there, they’d be there between 8-9 (even though breakfast was due to start at 7 and dining area / reception was all locked up and in the dark)! After them suggesting I knock on room 18 and ask that resident to move their van so I could get out, I persuaded them that that was the hotels responsibility, and eventually the manager agreed to leave his bed and drive to the hotel???? Is it not against all regulations to leave a hotel totally unmanned ??? What if there was an emergency? Who is checking no-one unwanted enters and that doors etc are locked??? What if there is a fire!!! Un-blinking-believable Avoid this hotel at all costs if you value your life

Well... I’m not coming back

Arrived and as we got shown in, my mate turned to hold the door for me and the hotel man rudely didn’t to my friend in front, so as he turned the door slammed in his face. Then they told me I hadn’t paid for the room when I had ... showed proof and asked hotel.com to speak to them which they did- they saw no reason for any problems. The hotel man didn’t make much of an attempt to sort it. The hotel stunk of weed and was generally unkept. The room was disgusting, dirty and worn. The floor was filthy, the bed sheets looked old and were faded. The drawers were dirty and had dead bugs in them. There were stains everywhere... the mattress the floor. The pictures are deceiving. The website looks good - reality was very different. I didn’t expect amazing quality for the price we paid. But basic hygiene thought would be standard. Not all bad. They did have customer parking.

Good location. Very friendly and helpful staff but unfortunately my bathroom appeared not be cleaned after previous stay but when I pointed it out, it was immediately actioned. Value for money accommodation so don't expect anything fancy. Staff are really nice and friendly.

I liked the fact the room came with a fan, and was airy, clean, and relatively quiet. I had quite heavy luggage and found it disappointing there was no lift and no offer to help me carry my bags up to my second floor room. The stairs and corridors are really narrow which makes moving with heavy or big luggage really awkward. Breakfast lacked a variety of choice and was substandard. Check out was a nightmare as I was in a rush and had to wait ten minutes, calling out 'hello' and trying to ring the number for someone to even appear in the reception area. However, if you are just looking for somewhere relatively cheap and you don't have a great deal of luggage and you don't mind that you might have to hang around to check out then this place is great. The bed was very comfortable, and the shower was good, and despite the few issues I personally had, I would stay here again.

This property was exactly as we expected. The staff was outstanding. Some of the other travelers weren’t always courteous of others but that is no fault of the business.

non mi è piaciuto il parcheggio sul retro dell'hotel. io ed altri clienti dovevamo partire presto al mattino ma siamo stati bloccati dall'auto di un altro cliente che è stato chiamato dal personale dell'hotel soltanto dopo un'ora. L'orario della colazione non è stato rispettato.

Swandown Hotel, Swindon

Arrived at 2pm...hotel locked, first impressions very dirty uncared for. We did not stay and were unable to cancel, so lost our money. Reported to Hotels.com but they could do nothing. Do not stay here as it was a complete misrepresentation...certainly not 3 Stars!

We did not like the narrow stair ways, we were give a room on the second floor which was too small for a double bed, one side was tight against the wall. In the event of an emergency there would have been no escape from our room. The breakfast time had been changed from the time shown in the room to 0715 to 0815 . There are a lot of safety issues at this hotel which needs looking into .
