My wife and I stayed for 2 weeks while in Sydney. It was an average stay. The property, itself, was okay, but everything around was less than ideal. The neighborhood housed several hostels nearby. There was never an issue with the residents directly, but it could get quite loud. The next-door neighbor was a restaurant/bar that had some drag shows. I has no issue with it, but may not be for everyone. It was a sort of rundown area, but not too bad. There were several maintenance issues that needed attention. Nothing major, but nonetheless. There's a completely different vibe when a person owns a rental vs when a company is the owner. Clearly, a company/corporation owned this. The communication with the owner was prompt. Be aware, the apartment was directly next to the elevator. They shared the wall. Some may have a problem with the almost constant groaning. I'm a heavy sleeper, so not too big of a deal for me. It was quite convenient to the train and mass transit, which is nice. There are several quaint restaurants and coffee shops nearby that we frequented. Overall, average. I probably wouldn't stay again.
