A very comfortable cottage with lovely furnishings, stocked with everything and more you need. Very thoughtful hosts providing extra touches to ensure we had a wonderful 3 days at Nellies Cottage. Highly recommended.

Nellie’s Cottage was an absolute win! Gorgeous two bedroom and stocked with goodies. Bread, fresh fruit, milk of our choice, jams, espresso machine and teas. It was within walking distance of several viewpoints and the trail that takes you to three sisters and echo point (although this was a longer walk, check your maps before heading out for that one). The host was responsive and helpful and the place was immaculate. We did not have a car, and although there was often a wait, it was not difficult to book an Uber or taxi to get into town. The AC worked great and the beds were comfy. Would highly recommend.

Cannot recommend Nellie’s Cottage highly enough. Host Melissa has thought of everything, from a cosy fire and bottle of wine on arrival on a chilly mid-winter night to a generous breakfast hamper and DELICIOUS croissants. Even ice creams in the freezer. Tastefully decorated and with quality linens, amenities and kitchen appliances. Loved our stay.

The perfect mountains stay !

Nellies cottage is in a wonderful location close to all the amazing scenery Katoomba has to offer. The cottage has every amenity required for a perfect mountain getaway,Very cosy ,comfortable beds, lovely bathroom with a deep bath to soak the day away after those long mountain treks. The cottage is beautifully appointed with a warm and cosy log fire , Lovely kitchen with every amenity so well thought out by the perfect host Jessica .She provides those little extras that make all the difference to a special stay in the mountains. I highly recommend this lovely little cottage .

Cosy Cottage

What a beautiful cottage! So tastefully decorated. Very comfortable beds. It was lovely to enjoy the fireplace. Lovely breakfast provided as well. Jessica was so accommodating with providing coeliac friendly food, toaster and board. Peaceful location not far from Cahill's Lookout.

Stunning property in a wonderful location. The attention to detail and beautiful furnishings makes this property a standout. Everything you could want and more is there. The breakfast provisions and care in looking after dietary concerns was the icing on the cake. Highly recommend ed.

The absolute BEST

Three adult travelers in our group and all agree this is the best VRBO we have ever stayed in during our travels in the US, Europe, and Iceland. Jessica and Sergei have made a very comfortable cottage in an outstanding location. It is impeccably clean and quiet. They provided a very generous and creative selection of breakfast offerings, and snacks, including for a celiac in the group. They also gave us excellent suggestions for hiking tracks and places to eat. We could not have wished for a better place or more accommodating hosts. You cannot go wrong on this property.

Long Weekend Getaway

I visited Katoomba with a group of friends for a relaxing weekend getaway surrounded by nature. Nellie’s Cottage was absolutely spectacular, offering a beautifully designed and comfortable interior, breathtaking views, and a convenient location close to the main center with plenty of activities to enjoy. Jessica’s thoughtful breakfast basket and incredible hospitality was a delightful highlight of our trip. We can’t wait to return! 10/10.

Nellies Cottage is without a doubt the best B&B we have stayed at in Australia. The quality of the decor, furnishings, and ambience is 5-star. The little touches, lovely treats, and fantastic continental breakfast were gorgeous. Jessica communicated with us regularly, and this property should be the first choice for anyone visiting the Blue Mountains. We will book again for three or four nights next year! It is very highly recommended.

Cottage with many extras

Nellie’s cottage went the extra mile to make us feel welcome. From the fluffy robes and slippers to the wine chilling in the fridge to the fruit and croissants for breakfast, we felt very pampered and well looked after. When the weather turned cold and wet it didn’t bother us as we spent more time in the cottage playing games and watching dvds. They thought of everything. The location was perfect - a short drive to the shops at Katoomba and the visitors attractions - three sisters and scenic railway. A bonus discovery was the trails at the end of the street that led to the perfect lookout to watch the sunset. We would highly recommend Nellie’s Cottage and will definitely be a repeat visitor.

Gorgeous Cottage.

Loved the cottage, will probably come again.(probably in cooler months ). Only thing it didn’t have was wardrobes, but for 2 nights not an issue at all. Hired many homes over 20 years and this was the best when it came to everything you need plus little extras we didn’t expect. Have recommend to other people who will hopefully get to enjoy it too.

A lovely weekend at Nellie’s Cottage

I had the pleasure of staying at Nellie’s Cottage during my visit to the Blue Mountains, and it was truly a fantastic experience. The cottage was perfectly situated—central to everything we wanted to explore—yet peaceful and private. It was incredibly comfortable, with thoughtful touches that made it feel like a home away from home. The extras, like a well-stocked kitchen, really made the stay special. Jessica, the host, was incredibly friendly and accommodating. She made sure we had everything we needed and was even in no rush for us to check out, which was much appreciated. I highly recommend Nellie’s Cottage for anyone visiting the Blue Mountains!

The first word that comes to mind is “WOW” what a wonderful warm comfy cosy cottage this is, it feels like a home away from home. A fantastic renovation has been done with high quality fittings and furnishings throughout. There is everything you could want here, from the breakfast’s options to the bottle of wine and chocolates and so many other little treats left around the place. Nellies Cottage is close to everything, easy to get to and very central to get around to all that Katoomba and the Blue Mountains has to offer. Jessica has thought of everything in this place and I would have no problems recommending Nellies Cottage to everyone.

Wonderful stay

We recently spend two nights at Nellie's Cottage which was warm and cozy even though it was chilly outside. We awoke on Sunday morning to snow flakes falling which was special. The house is nicely decorated and has all you need for a wonderful weekend away in the Blue mountains.
