Harbour Views from North Sydney High Street

  • Summary:
    Bright 1 bedroom apartment on the Kirribilli/North Sydney border delights all guests with its space and views. Have your morning coffee on the balcony watching the cruise ships, navy warships and ferries come and go through the iconic harbour. With allocated parking and easy ferry access it's a great base to explore from. Please read the full listing below before booking to ensure you have all the important information to give you the best possible stay.

    The Space:
    Located on the fourth floor of a secure building (with lift) this apartment is just a few moments walk from the High Street ferry wharf, on a direct route to Circular Quay, it's easy to get into the heart of the city to explore Sydney further. Trains are available at Circular Quay also if you want to travel further afield but Milsons Point and North Sydney stations are within ten minutes walk too.

    The kitchen is well equipped for anyone wishing to cook up a storm during their stay. If you need to do any laundry during your stay there is a laundry room within the building with many large coin-operated washing machines and dryers.

    The apartment is not suited to families with children under 5 but young, sensible children over that age should be fine. This is a no smoking apartment. The apartment has one allocated parking space for your exclusive use; it is a large space but accessed by a slightly narrow ramp so best for smaller cars and/or confident drivers. Long or low cars may struggle.

    The apartment is provided on the basis that up to two guests are sharing the main bed. If use of the sofa bed is required, please book for 3+ people. Please be aware the sofa bed is best suited to one adult or two children, two adults will find it a bit small.

    A large portable air conditioner which vents through the window is provided for guest use in the summer, there is no fitted air conditioning allowed in this building unfortunately. The unit can be used in the bedroom and living seperately.

    There is also now a tv in the bedroom (not shown in photos) with Chromecast capabilities.

    Guest Access:
    Guests have full use of the apartment to make themselves at home, nothing in the apartment is shared with anyone else. You will of course have your own keys to come and go as you please.

    The Neighborhood:
    Many people think of North Sydney as the CBD alone, but the CBD is surrounded by some of the best living in Sydney. If you work in the city you are spoilt for choice when it comes to transport. Trains and buses are constant. On a nice day walk to work across our great bridge. Stroll to nearby restaurants at Blues Point Road, Crows Nest or Neutral Bay, or stay in North Sydney itself with a great variety of restaurants and good pubs. Everything is walking distance in this suburb. There are great shops at Greenwood Plaza, Walker Street, Neutral Bay or Crows Nest for all your grocery needs or late night requirements.

    Visit the great markets near the North Sydney council on Friday nights and Saturdays. Parks are plentiful with North Sydney oval and Cammeray park perfect for kids and families, or take a leisurely stroll to the harbour.

    Getting Around:
    The ferry is just four minutes walk away at the High Street ferry wharf which takes you directly to Circular Quay for The Rocks and the Opera House. There is a train station at Circular Quay also if you want to travel further afield. The nearest train station is ten minutes walk away Milsons Point.

    Other Things to Note:
    All the apartments we manage come with a welcome letter and a full instruction manual so you know how everything works to ensure you can get the most out of your stay. The manual also contains many menus from local restaurants to give you some idea of what is available nearby and also information on tourist activities available in Sydney. There is also a local map with some highlights such as the local supermarket and train station plus maps of Sydney for those not familiar with the area. All bedding and towels (note one bath towel per person booked) are included along with beginner basics such as tea, coffee, sugar, milk, shampoo, bodywash and toilet paper to get you through the first few days.

    Prior to arrival we ask all guests to quickly fill in some contact information and tell them a little bit more about how we hope they'll look after the apartment. Please note as we continue to improve the property over time the furniture and furnishings may change from those shown in the photos.

    Interaction with Guests:
    As a professional holiday rental agency we are available to answer any questions or help with any problems that crop up. Great location to stay

Nice place to stay if you want to be close to the city (by train or walking) while having the scenery and amenities to relax. The apartment was exactly as described, had everything you need, and the property manager had taken a lot of effort to explain how things work and where everything was.
