Como buen hotel boutique tiene sus detalles quf llaman la atención, arquitectura, decoracion. Lo malo es el tamaño tan pequeño de los cuartos. Golpe en la cabeza al pararse del wc, no hay donde colocar las maletas, no hay espacio para secarse y menos vestirse dentro del baño. El ruido de la calle y de los cuartos vecinos, asi como la luz que entra por la orilla de las persianas impiden un buen descanso.

Hotel correcto
El hotel está en Chinatown, es muy lindo y bien cuidado, la habitación está más que bien y un tamaño bueno. Cada vez que queríamos entrar a la habitación teníamos que pasar por la recepción ya que nunca funcionaba la tarjeta (5 veces en 2 días) Podrían dar una opción de desayuno complementario o al menos algo de panadería de cortesía.

Been there multiple times, the first time tried to charge me extra when I was checked out, the reason was my dogs lost a lot of fur on the carpet, which was ridiculous,even i booked ultimo courtyard room? I put a dog pads to cover almost half the room, how can the carpet have so much fur on it? so the hotel does not accept dogs that lose fur? Secondly, I already put a note when I booked the hotel saying that please make sure the room and courtyard are clean as we saw the cockroaches before, but this time happened again, cockroaches on the bed and toilet, and so many flies, so disgusting and disappointing.

This would be a great base for landing in Sydney except the super awful perfume used in the building. My luggage stinks now to the point I have to put it outside at my new place to stay. Otherwise clean and has a nice style. Too bad for stinking it up for no good reason.

This property is excellent value for money. It is easy to access, has very close public transport and fantastic shopping and dining options directly opposite the location. The staff a wonderful and treat all guests with dignity and respect and a very helpful with information relating to the area and public transport. A wonderful stay and the rooms are in immaculate condition. Have stayed here on many occasions and will definitely stay here again.

Whether this is a good or bad choice depends on what you are after. It is centrally located close to transport, the staff are exceptionally helpful, and the rooms are clean. If you are passing through Sydney and need to be close to transport, it an ok choice. The hotel has very limited facilities, lacks a restaurant and the room layout left a lot to be desired. It is a good three star traveller's hotel. There are better places to stay in central Sydney for the same money, unless proximity to transport is essential.

Excelent hotel with tons of character
Old market building converted into a hotel. All the rooms are old market stores or storage areas. Expect quirky! Rooms may be a little on the smaller side but this cannot be helped. They more than make up for this with character. Despite being in a busy area the room we had was quiet. We didn't even hear the karoke bar below. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Location is fantastic. Walkable to Central with Light Rail stops nearby. Chinatown is one minute walk away. Loads of great restaurants and bars nearby.

Customer service was exceptional! Slight issue with one of the rooms but the staff quickly resolved our concern and we felt very accommodated. Would highly recommend the hotel & we will most definitely be choosing Ultimo again for our next planned stay. My girlfriend insists we try a courtyard room next or another studio room! Rooms were very neat & tidy.

The area was smack bang in the middle of Chinatown which is exactly what we wanted. Walk to Darling Harbour and quick tram ride to Sydney Fish Market and Circular Quay. The room reeked of cigarette smoke which was a letdown but all in all a good place to stay in.

Was really close walking distance to central station. Lovely nice and clean room. Loved the natural shampoo and conditioner. Only thing the aircon was on too high and my room was very cold when I arrived. I turned it off and room was perfect after it warmed up again. Staff were friendly. I stayed here many times cos of it’s location which is very convenient, good for shopping and dining or just strolling along the harbour. The room was clean and bedding was comfortable. The greatest disappointment was that this time staff were not friendly nor helpful at all. My daughter had a little medical episode and the staff were not helpful and showed no concern at all. Where’s the compassion guys?

The Ultimo is in a great location, with easy access to central station, restaurants, and activities. The house keeping is rather lazy. The first was fine; but, other two night the bed was not made - they only pulled the top sheet straight., clean towels were never placed on the towel racks - they wew left on the table, and the toilet was never cleaned. Since everthing was fine the first night it was apparently a different housekeeper the 2 other nights I was there.
