“Welcoming staff and efficient check in. Very accomodating with our small dog. Room is spacious and clean. Well equipped. Breakfast was very good with hot options and lots of choices. Overall a very pleasant experience. The only downside is the environment which presents as not very reassuring - a steady police presence eased worries. There is a Tim next door which is nice.”

“Front desk staff upon check in was great. We ate at the little restaurant there that night it was also good. The pictures on the website of the pool were misleading however although smaller than it appears it was a nice pool, very busy, lots of kids( I counted 22). Sadly that’s where the good times ended. The hotel is in need of major work both inside and out. The staircase smelled like my grandmas house from the 60’s and has probably not been cleaned since then. The elevator fits maybe two...

“The place is very dated and worn down. It appears that some attempts have been made to 'clean up' the place, but not very well done. No screens on the windows. No toilet paper holder. No Kitchen sink stopper. No dish soap/cloth to clean dishes, nor a tea towel. Mismatched dishes. It does have a full size fridge, stove and microwave, but minimal counterspace. They do allow dogs. The room does have a small round table and 2 chairs. Shower is very very small (about 18" x18"). The dark blue towels...

“The swimming pool was out of order, and the air conditioning unit was experiencing technical difficulties.”

“A/C unit could not keep up but it was very hot out. My main disappointment was that I called ahead of time to confirm the type of room I was getting, only to be told when we got there that they did not have that sort of room. When I explained again that I had called ahead of time, they suddenly had the room that I had been told I'd get. I shouldn’t have to push to get what I already made arrangements for and I really don't appreciate being lied to. I won’t stay here again.”
